I admit, I am a bit surprised to see two tanks in a +0 run. When we tried +0 with two tanks, I (as the offtank) felt so useless--there wasn't really anything for me to do. We've since done +0 runs with 9 DPS and just one tank.
Do you feel that it's better to run with two tanks? And if so, any suggestions on what the OT should be doing? I kinda like the idea of two tanks, but I find it hard to justify the idea in +0.

@code65536 Yeh the off-tank role is kinda useless in this environment, only useful on the mini bosses when doing +0, you get that extra Warhorn and DDs don't die to basic mechanics. Our reason for taking an off-tank was to get quick results, the DPS is always there as long as we stayed alive, which is what the off-tank helped in doing. If the main-tank has a death when going for such achievements, the off-tank is useful. An off-tank isn't necessary, but you have to weigh up the buffs provided by off-tank vs the extra DD.
We got that achievement on Llothis with just one tank; the tank took care of the adds while Llothis was left untanked. On Llothis you can get an achievement for not killing the adds if you run two tanks.
I've not seen many (if at all) bottom boss clears less than 10 minutes long, so to clear it in 8 minutes is obviously a big step towards getting this speed run achievement anyway. If this is the case, then the other two bosses are possibly being cleared faster than anyone else as of now too, exploit or no exploit. People seem to be forgetting that there are three separate bosses to kill, and to get anywhere near a 15 minute clear requires three solid strategies with great support to go with the DDs. One bug doesn't allow a given group that clears in 25 minutes to suddenly beat it within 15 minutes.

The tank can't really position him, his standard attacks aren't dangerous, and his most dangerous attacks are mechanics-based abilities that ignore taunt. We have Breach on him from Ele Drain and Fracture from a stam DK's breath, so all we're losing by not having a tank on him is Crusher and Alkosh. But I suppose if we could get really good uptime on Crusher and Alkosh, that would be somewhat similar to a 9th DPS.

Dont care if it's HODOR or anyone else. Remove Brag threads.
Really great work guys! Disappointing to see so much negativity though. What exactly were they supposed to do, not run the trial at all this week or play through it slowly to make sure they didn’t get a speedrun? Absolute nonsense.
Congrats all, well done.
