Stormproof. That ensures not only you do decent DPS but that you can respond correctly to mechanics and manage your resources. Magicka Templar is one of the hardest classes for that though. I always curse a lot running it.

The vast majority of the players in this game cannot complete vMA, so, yes, if I see Stormproof in a pledge PUG, I know that the person is competent.
Most vet PvE titles are good indicators of competency. People in this thread look down on those titles and dismiss them for carriage or whatever, but in practice, how often have you seen a "Hist Shadow" or "Mageslayer" in a PUG who didn't know what they were doing? Sure, it's possible that you might meet someone who is wholly incompetent who bought an account, paid for a title, or got carried, but how often does that actually happen? I can tell you the times I've run into that: zero.
For the purposes of knowing that a pledge PUG is competent and not someone spamming light attacks with a bow, any of the vet-content PvE titles will do just fine. Stormproof, Ophidian Overlord, Hist Shadow, Forge Breaker, Assistant Alienist, etc. They're all properly respectable titles. Next level up would be Flawless Conqueror, Coadjutor (vHoF is really about whether you can find two competent tanks), or any of the vet skins. And then above that, Dro-m'Athra Destroyer (why is that person in a PUG?!).

OP isn't bragging.
24K may not be the best DPS rate around, but it's not a DPS rate you get just by playing. You've gotta train, think, and get gear to reach it. And it still places OP among the top 10% players or so.
And, as someone else already mentioned, it's enough to let you complete EVERYTHING in the game.
So yeah. Work on your own DPS instead of accusing better players than you of bragging around.

Did a flawless run on a magplar on second vMA run, never played magplar before, just leveled it to 50 and went straight to vMA... easiest class to do vMA cmon man.
On topic - Flawless Conqueror is your best bet, decent dps and undeetanding of mechanics. Though, my vMA mag builds don’t do more than 20k dps...
I laught at people with PvE group titles in PvP. They make good easy AP.
Which {method} will make you go "Ok, this guy isn't a bow spammer", or "Ok, this guy knows his rotations"?
No title will prove that you are a good dps. there are a lot people who just get it, because the rest of the group is good and they carry them through.
I suggest, do no death runs in Mazzatun and Cradle of Shadows and put on one of those skins, you'll get as a reward. That should at least show, that you know what movement is and that your dps is at least not bad.
24k on a dummy is not huge, though.
