Um, nerfing pets will do absolutely nothing to stop the bots.

Sure lets nerf an aspect of a class because bots tend to play that style a lot, and who cares that you'll be screwing over everyone who plays that class in PvE and/or PvP.

So what happens when/if the Bots move on to a different class? Lemmie guess... nerf that class then? And then the next class they move to...

Till in the end every class is absolute garbage, and the game closes because everyone has left the game because every skill and class has been nerfed into uselessness because of bots always picking the easiest class/skills to bot with.

Or maybe ZOS should add Captcha questions to skills - so every time you want to use a skill you have to enter 2 words, or pick out all images of roads! :P You'd def stop the bots by doing this!

Seriously tho... stupid suggestion. Bots will always gravitate to the easiest class to bot with... regardless of how badly it gets nerfed. And if it gets nerfed so hard it can no longer function, they will just change to a different build or different class. Till that gets nerfed too much to bot, and then move again, etc and so on.

Nerfing clases because bots use them will do nothing to stop the bots, and just hurts players.

The entire place on PS4 NA servers has been a land of Play Dough for the last 2-3 years. Literally, grass textures, rocks, scenery - nothing loads but the absolute base of the map resulting in Play Dough hills. Especially bad near the southmost Dolmen. Doesn't do it every single day, but often enough.

Auridon is a farmers wet dream, either legitimate or bot - and therefore 99% of the game's population hangs out there.

With the current witches festival I'm struggling to even hit an enemy to be counted as a participant of the Dolmen, the enemies don't appear on my screen for like 30 seconds, all I see is players attacking air (and no they aren't bots) then after the massive load of 400 players, it finally shows the enemies, then I struggle to hit them as their health bars melt away in less than a second.

So yeah, leave the pets alone and nerf Auridon.

Pets rarely annoy me -- except for the Wardens' bears. Darn bears have a way of just getting in the way everywhere. I normally move aside, even in crowds, rather than run "through" other characters and pets. The bears always seem to make me have to take a much wider track around. Maybe it's because their size blocks more of the camera view when you're close. Or maybe there's just a bigger percentage of Warden characters leaving their bear pets out all the time compared to other pet classes? There's no real way or need to nerf pets, though. All I could suggest is some form of "pet etiquette" enforced in the game engine, where pets can't be summoned in certain areas, like cities and the "safe" radius around wayshrines; they'd auto-dismiss much like you auto-dismount from your horse in certain places. It wouldn't do anything about bots running in combat areas, though.

This, add that this is not real bots, more macro / rubber banding without any feedback, pets will agro enemies around and pulling them in, easier to set up than moving AoE around

Dude is a console player.

It's possible he's just one of those weirdos (or people with injuries and can't work a mouse/keyboard without extreme discomfort) that uses a controller on PC. Though the lack of UI addons could also be an indicator of console.

This is why each location needs an active moderator we can reach at any time.
