Maelstrom and master weapons drop on normal now?

Do they drop on normal? I will be so pissed off if they do! I worked so hard for my maelstrom lightning and flame staves!

    Where did you hear this, cause I highly doubt they'd do that.

    But if they actually did do that, lol, cool a legit reason to actually go back into Maelstrom without having to suffer any head splitting tantrums Vet causes.

    Have said it in other threads but I would be OK with Maelstrom/Master weapons dropping on normal in CP150 versions. So, not triggered.

    Velidreth used to drop on normal at launch but that wasnt intended which is why i have 2 pieces of lvl 40-48 velidreth for kyne lol

    Master and Maesltorm weapons drop only on veteran versions Asylum imperfected ones can be looted on normal mode but with hard mode tactics (all 3 bosses at once) and veteran mode and perfected ones only on veteran hard mode.

    Normal maesltrom is 5X ( or 7?) more easier than Vet maesltrom , so if they add " imperfect " version of maesltrom weapons ... these weapons should be 5X less powerful.

    Lot more than 5, 7, or even 10x easier. Kinda like how Kra'gh has a better one piece, and for single target two piece bonus than Velidreth. Effort in does not affect effect coming out in this game.

    Should it? Entirely different question, and all subjective so no wrong answer.

    Honestly, I wouldn’t even care if they did. I’d still have no incentive to do Maelstrom Arena on normal difficulty, so why would it exactly matter to me? If new players got weapons?

    Lol the difference right now is so small. Can you imagine if they did do the same thing for master and maelstrom weapons?

    Imperfect master bow: adds 299 weapon damage to abilities against enemies tagged by your poison injection.

    Imperfect maelstrom greatsword: your critical rush deals an additional 5999.999924 damage over 5 sec.

    Imperfect maelstrom lightning staff: targets affected by your wall of elements don't see a difference between this staff and the perfected version if they're being honest. They also take 1500 more damage from your light attacks.

    Agreed. I never quite grasped the concept of making someone endure hardships in obtaining something in a game, just because I had to. I however used to be against normal mode dropping Maelstrom Weapons, because I always thought that the content on normal was too easy to reward a weapon. Not because I particularly had struggled on veteran mode, and wanted for others to. But, because I felt there should be a certain amount of effort applied to earn a Maelstrom Weapon.

    But nowadays? I realize how silly that logic is. As long as I got me covered, and I’m taking care of my business... Why would I worry about someone else, and if ZOS chooses to make obtaining said weapons easier to obtain for the players who have a rough time completing the content on veteran difficulty? That makes no sense. That’s a very selfish and foolish mentality to have. Why not let more players gain access to the weapons? It doesn’t bother me in any way, so why not let more players shine? That’s just my $0.02 of it all.

    some day, all of the "normal" players will leave and of you maelstrom weapon holders will play with yourselves. EFFECTIVELY giving you zero advantage over your fellow player!
