Add that lots of players who have them and farm for the new masks or just grind will dump them during the event.

Last year I ended up just giving them away to people that wanted them. Hopefully it will be the same again this year.

The drop rate was low during the event too. For the last Witches Festival I had so many of the blue and purple recipes and Hollowjack motif pages I ended up learning them on all characters and vendoring a bunch to NPCs on top of that. The Jester Festival ones were much rarer. I only got two or three Dubious Camoran Throne ones and sold the surplus ones for 30K+ during the event; the consumable is pretty good too. One on hand the recipe drop rate per container was noticeably smaller, there were only 3 repeatable quests per day during the Jester's Festival, while during Witches Festival skulls dropped every 3 minutes and you could get dozens per character per day.

Aren't they going to be dirt cheap in a couple of days? Gratz on getting them sold for that much.

And Dubious Camoran will be dirt cheap in the spring, assuming we haven't gotten a lift to max level by then. Otherwise the moment they announce a level cap bump the recipes will be cheap.

You can use Dubious & Witches at level 1 as well

I didn't look up prices for Dubious Camoran Throne recipes before I put mine up for sale a few months ago as I wasn't very active with traders at the time so I sold it for 50k. Couple days later, I happened to see one in a guild store for 500k. I almost cried.

Something is only worth what you get from it.

Just because someone sold the same thing for more or less is irrelevant. The value is only what you can get for it at the present time. That's actually the definition of an "asset".

You cannot "lose" something you never had.

Some people are just giving masks away in guild banks.

You are lucky.

Why? One, you got two masks and two, you sold each mask for 55k. We have plenty of people that are nice enough to sell it under 20k in the guild stores. Be happy about it as there are others that are quite unlucky just like me. After opening 203 skulls, I obtain 0 mask.

Yes, they do drop but they have a lower drop rate from what I understand. They dilluted the drop table a lot with all the sticks and roots.

I couldn’t even get rid of mine at 35k. Finally just sold it for 19k. It’s annoying because they don’t let you deposit it in the bank, so it’s just taking up space if you don’t want it.
