RE: Patch 3.2.6 Factotum Drop Rate

I just farmed Factotums for 1 hour in the reactor distract, non-stop killing. I got two green global plans:

Design: Orcish Cannister, Rugged
Pattern: Argonian Tarp, Sturdy

I get that you don't want the volume of plans that was coming from them BUT could you at least make all the plans we get the Clockwork City ones? A lot of us collect plans and this is....quite a blow:(

We've already been through this debacle with the Morrowind plans; the current answer from ZOS seems to be that all plan types are in the loot list rather than just morrow plans in Morrowind and CWC plans in CWC. Sadly.

With that said, why Morrow/CWC plans haven't been added to the Hlaalu furnishing plan loot list at the voucher merchant, I have no idea.

As someone who does master writs quite a bit, I still think players should be given the chance to loot new furnishing plans before they appear at the master writ vendor. It's brand new content.

The next major patch would make a lot more sense for these to appear.

I have stopped farming for specific items altogether. It’s not worth it at all considering ZOS covets minuscule drop rates so much.

The harsh truth is that these plans are only as an alibi in the loot tables, the drop chances are so low that they are virtually non existent (like the aetherial stuff). They are only there to allow ZOS to claim that they are available in the game. We are just supposed to buy these items via the Crown Store.

I was enjoying the drop rate on furniture plans, I finally got a couple of the Furnishing Achievements. And, it was not like I was raking in the plans, just a nice amount.

This morning? Zilch and I am still lost in the Planetarium doing the Astronomer's Apprentice quest. (that place is confusing as all get out)
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Oh look, the fix was something that would annoy the players. What a surprise. Who is this meant to appeal to? It was fine the way it was. I’m telling you, these developers think it’s funny to annoy their players. As it is now, it’s not worth bothering with.

Ye one of the main reasons why i gave up on housing and furnishing plans to collect.

ZOS adds them to the loot table, lootable from anywhere which all it does is increase the amount of doubles i get i already know.

Additionally not updating the Master Writ Vouchers envelopes with the new plans is simply incompetent work.

EDIT: I made a post about this, tagged in @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom and guess what, ignored as usual. No point even tagging in these people unless you want a meme as a reply.

I don't think this is true because you also have the option of buying furniture from other players who know the recipe.

I think the reason recipes are less common than some players would like is to encourage trading and crafting interactions between players.

I like that the ESO economy still features rare and interesting items for players to collect. I have enjoyed collecting recipes and selling furniture.

In MMOs, the value of items is tied to scarcity. The nice feeling we get to experience when we obtain something rare can't happen if it's easily obtainable.

My issue with furniture plans in general is that there are just so many of them that finding them all would be a full time job. I can't care enough about chasing them due to mostly getting greens and whites I already know. I agree that having certain things harder to get makes it interesting, but this is just so much that it makes it not worth it for me. I even stopped buying plans from other players. So if the intention is to increase interaction, this did nothing for that for me. Like, back in the early days, finding purple or gold motifs was a rare thing, but still obtainable. You could easily believe that there was hope of eventually finding one you were looking for, within a somewhat reasonable amount of time. I don't feel that way in regards to furniture plans.

Considering that you have absolutely no way to search the guild trades for specific items and even them you would have to search each trader separately (remember that most players can't install add-ons) this sounds hollow. There is no market for these item here.

The drop rate is way to low for any reasonable economy to develop (1:22.000 chance is simply way to low)

They could've had a voucher for 25 blue morrowind / 125 purple morrowind rng patterns, and same for CWC tbh.

Blueprints should be based on zone imo. I gave up blueprint hunting in Morrowind, getting the same old chairs and desks is...simply put, not fun. I just what I like from traders

This! It’s not worth it too much time and better ways to make gold. I have always said that’s it’s so much faster to farm gold and buy what you want then to farm the item. I know with farming mats and doing writs everyday I can make the gold to buy any item. I can spend the same time everyday farming an item and never know it will drop.
