Is it ok to have 100 cap of transmutation crystals?

On my second account who doesn't have eso + active the cap of transmutation crystals is 100 . Is this ok?

On patch notes I read that for non eso plus subscribers the cap must be 200.

It's not an error, if that's what you want to know. It has been like this since the first PTS patch - without eso+ the cap is 100, with eso+ it is doubled.

It is arguable whether there should be a cap at all, but that's probably a different question.

It's a good system from a player's and developer's point of view. It stops a lot of grief and also encourages the subscription which is better for the game.

Grief as in hardcore players that could potentially collect so many of these items they could just use them whenever they want and have BiS weeks before the general player base. So having a cap is a good thing. Makes game balance more controllable, like when they added the CP cap.

I have mixed feelings on it.

Part of me accepts ZOS needs to push subscriptions and having increased limits on things locked behind a sub can do that. The other part of me has played SWTOR and seen how badly it can go if you start putting everything behind the sub in such a way.

Even with the cap at 100 you can still transmute 2 items and makes you more aware of what you are spending the crystals on.

Idk, I kinda feel like with the current rate at which we acquire crystals, no ones ever gonna reach the cap lol
We always have stuff we wanna transmute, I doubt I'm ever gonna have more than 50 crystals, cause I'll probs use them as soon as I get them.
You just going to stand there like a lemon?

100 is a good cap, personally I'd rather see 50/100 rather than 100/200.

Imagine we get a new dungeon set, it might take 3-4 runs to get a full set of it. You'll probably get one piece thats BiS, that means with 200 crystals to turn 4 other pieces to BiS. Then you're done.

And you can pretty much guarantee by the time the next DLC drops a lot of people will be setting at max crystal numbers.

im against the cap at first but when i experienced the actual drop rate i change my mind, even purple geode has a chance to only give you 2 effing crystals, itlls be awhile to get from 100 so the cap is pretty much useless by the time you capped the crystals you already your gear

i was going to say that it's P2W ect ... But we can keep the geode in our inventory and keep them if we hit the cap ... so i'm ok with this :)

It will take some time before anyone reaches the cap, but if that happens, I don't want my inventory cluttered with unopened geodes. And I would also not want to destroy them in case I need them later. That's my only problem with the cap.

If containers of any kind wouldn't take up inventory slots or were at least bankable, I would be absolutely fine with a cap.

The cap will force people to spend their gems to stay under the cap, which with a cap of 100, well you'll need to retrait atleast once a month regardless of whether you need it or not.

In the beginning there was the sub, and it was good.

It's certainly not in the favor of the players.

I'm pretty sure ZOS put this limit in place so that they can't save up a bunch, then when new gear comes out they basically instantly have BiS gear. While anyone trying to get BiS gear will still get it much more quickly this way, they still want content to take time, because lets be honest ZoS doesn't make enough content fast enough. (or meaningful enough to repeat other than to get BiS gear).

If you don't use them you can save the geodes, you can keep them in inventory or even mail so its no problem saving a lot of them.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
