Why are stam sorc heals so bad!?

Been playing pretty much nothing but stam sorc for the past couple of months, so I thought I'd weigh in.

Stam sorc doesn't have a lot of useful stamina based class abilities, though they do get a lot of utility out of their magicka pool.

As far as options for healing go, you have Surge, Vigor, Dark Deal, Rally, as well as the dual weild ability morphs thst grant healing.

Looking at that list, you have one strong burst heal in Rally, with everything else being over time, interruptable or only useful in combat.

The thing is, you need to understand Sorc isnt like DK, templar or Warden. You aren't built to stand your ground, instead you have fantastic mobility from your class skills. Personally I only run Vigor, Surge with Dark Deal on my overload bar, and then weave in and out of combat using lines of sight to create opportunities.

So basically you do actually have access to a lot of healing options, but I don't feel like you need most of them.

StamSorc has the best heals as a stamClass.

They are the only class that can make real use of DW and Rapid strikes due to Surge for heal on hit +hurricane to stay on target.
Stamsorc is high up there.

Typically as a Sorc they gain the most from CP. Put points into gaining HP on criticals (boost Surge lmao..)

Personally I believe that stamSorc is better than stamNB. Unless the stamNB knows how to gang.

Along with the skills most have listed like rally and vigor, run seventh legion/briarheart/troll king and you won't be lacking heals

u dont heal like other classes u have crit surge u heal thru attacking and stqacking ur crits.
EVERY class has their way of self healing and sustaining, learning that is key .

theres a reason why stam sorc and stamblade are vMA top dogs- cos they can heal and dps at once- being aggressive and fast is beneficial. u dont have to bar swap, heal, swap back, roll dodge, dps again- u just buff and dps , dps - when u stop attacking is when u die.

Sounds a lot like MagPlar. You stop sweeping, and you get merked in VMA. This is of course ignoring Breath of Life, and all that jazz. You get the point. Lol.

Healing through damage is what wins in Eso PvP.
If you can't heal through damage effectively you lose.

Rally, that’s your burst heal. If you’re not using a 2H then you can go crit surge plus hurricane and vigor and dd. Make sure to put some points into crit boost though so you can get those heals up.

True story, you can do VMA on a StamSorc without Vigor or Rally. The heals are that strong. Surge + Hurricane = GGHeals

Well the be fair if we are talking end game with highest DPS then from what I hear from most group is that 1 mag sorc is enough and the rest of the ranged magicka team should be NBs. As long as they are good. Don't play it myself but I hear that magNB pulls higher but is harder to play, but so if you really want to push DPS you could include them.

And if I want to do a speedrun no death dungeon, on DLC or otherwise, and my team asks me what to bring and they have a stamina sorc, I will tell them to bring that. Works like a fricking charm every time. They have great self heal, they are fast, amazing AoE, and like basically all stamina characters right now they have really good single target too. Maybe not as high as a DK but still really high.

Get Blessed to 12%.

Then just spec for as much DPS as you can, slot Crit Surge, and keep that up constantly. That is 90% of the time all the healing you need as a Sorc.

Yeah, we are PC EU, too. Stam sorc used to be the only accepted stam class back when eso was ElderMagicka Online. Now others compete, but I don't know ans decent guild who bans stam sorcs from raids.

Yes, my previous statement was directed to stam sorcs good healing only. For the next update we might have to say goodbye to heavy armor anyways.

Oh and at the guy who asked for class spamable. Stam classes usually use weapon abilities . Not everyone has the luxury of a stamblade.
