The Min Maxers and those focused on max DPS don't like the Wardens.
However, when I duo killed the Daedroth World Boss in Stormhaven on my L14 Warden with an L9 Scrub who was hanging around and helping out, it showed me the Warden is a viable PvE character outside of Vet Dungeons and Trials. And, it may not be too bad for those, it all depends. Probably best as Healers in those places.
But you have to play them to the Class, and that means using the Heals to Survive and the Ranged Attacks to chip away at the mobs. So, a Warden can be fun character to play, but your not going to get invited to every party with them. They are not a YOLO wade in and spam damage skills type of character.
Personally, it would be the last Class I would roll.
Why do ppl say it's the best burst damage then?

Because they can time multiple abilities to hit at the same time and birds cannot be dodged. That's good in PvP but irrelevant in end game PvE.

Yes, the shalks work somewhat like the curse. I'd say the sorc still has the stronger burst, but warden has stronger heals. Sorc relies on surge and maybe healing ward from backbar. But Sorcerer still can put down competitive DPS in PvE. Warden doesn't. The class needs serious work. The instant/delayed cast abilities are fine, but the DoTs and some passives are too weak IMO. Most DPS in PvE is DoT.

Use that double xp to grind CP!!
Levelling 1-50 is easy by comparison, don't need double xp for that!!

I hear ppl say ww is useless with warden and that's kind of what I wanted to do
Grind the CPs because all characters can use these, it makes everything easier. Also, if you do start a Warden later, it'll still level faster because of your extra CPs (low level characters + high CPs = easy mode).

If you need some good stamina warden pvp builds you could check out Kodi's youtube channel as he has some of the best stamina warden builds. Not sure about being a werewolf though, but you could probably make your build first then slightly change it to a werewolf play style.
For the burst damage I generally use subterranean assault(shalks), followed by dizzying swing and dawnbreaker of smiting. Its really good burst but tough to use and i'm still new to the class and learning.
