Imperial Templar support tank...hybrid benefit?

I feel like I'm just not the type of ppl who likes to take high risk and do high damage...hard-to-kill supportive role seems to fit me.

Now, I believe imperial templar is the most versatile combo you can find, so I want to take this advantage and make it reaches the apex of support tank. (for both pve and pvp)

Now, I wonder is there any utility/support abilities that can only be obtained with mag/stam tank? In other words, is there benefit for support tank to become hybrid?

Amd if so, any recommend builds?

I been toying with this idea as well but since skills scale with max stam/magic in theory hybrid doesn't seem like it'll work, not sure though no expert.

Stam Warden is probably the class you are looking for.

Better tankiness, damage and general versatility. The only thing the Templar really brings over it is the group cleanse.

As far as sets go, Shacklebreaker is great since it gives you damage, sustain and a bunch of off-resource for utility purposes. Beyond that pick whatever sets tickle your fancy.

I play a character called "Gives Me Wood Elf" because I am a mature and sensible person.

my friend made a build of hybrid argonian templar tank-healer, however, it was pre-morrowind and then he quit the game, so we didn't test build for sustain after, but I guess it should be fine.
As I understand, that's not exactly what are you looking for, but mb you'll get some ideas from it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Support tank. That sounds more like warden to me.

For pve I don't think it would be that useful.

For pvp I'd suggest something like this :
Race : Imperial or Orc for the Health.

Gear : Either Troll-King or Bloodspawn (I'd prefer BS the ulti Regen)
Warrior Poet (for tankiness and health)
    Thews of the harbinger.
    Double S&B
    Gear all in sturdy
    Witchmothers drink

You should easily get around 50k health with this.
You just jump into combat with Block, let the enemies hit you and kill themselves because of harbinger set.

The support you can do with your healing ulti, your extended ritual, healing ritual

    Most tanks are hybrid.
For my Templar Tank I am very mag based however...

    Race: Breton.
    Class: Templar

    Gear: 5 Spectre's Eye, 5 Akaviri Dragongaurd, 2 Shadowrend

Bar 1 Structured entropy, Radiant ward, Pierce Armor, Ritual of retribution, Repentance, Aggressive warhorn
Bar 2 Channelled Focus, Reflective light, Inner fire, Volanic rune, Breath of life, Empowering sweep

With Infused Prismatic on the large pieces and Study Health on the small pieces, block cost reduction on the jewels. Tri-stat food.

I end up with 35 health 25 mag and 15 stam and 1200 mag regen i think it is about that anyway. With Channelled focus up I have 30K resistances. My stats are mostly Mag with Enough Hp points to get to 35ish health. mag 45, 18 hp or something

That is my pleadge running PVE set up,.

I changed to Kraganc's hope over Spectre's eye for PVP.. and ran around as an unkillable Rez bot.

I also wanted to be a heal tank but the resource nerfs in morrowind really hurt, still this is still pretty good at just being a tank, with healing as bonus.
