@Sixty5 , I almost swear they've added some kind of 'jump snare' to this dungeon alone. It's either that or our characters are more suited for the NBA than the olympics.Took a few hours to get through.
We honestly had more trouble on the Minotaur boss than on the final one. A lot of it was my fault given that I am notorious for being terrible at anything resembling platforming.
Apart from that once we figured out all the mechanics it wasn't too bad in the end.
@Liofa a couple other things about the lava pools, when casted, there is a small fireball that heads towards the edge of the arena. Once it actually hit the edge, that's when the pool forms. You can use the visual of the travelling fireball to know the general vicinity where the next pool will form, and preemptively move away. Most common problem is RNG . There will be lava pools that shoot some fireballs at you if you stand near them . After few shots , you get stunned . So you have to move away from them at all times . RNG is these lava pools might spawn anywhere during the fight . You could be moving again and again or you could be staying at the same spot through the whole fight . Difficulty of the fight is highly dependant on the spawn location of lava pools . Sometimes lava pools spawn on top of each other and giving you a lot of space to fight . Sometimes they are spread all over the place and you have nowhere to go . Once you get the idea of lava pools , it is easy .

I find it absurd that
- I jump 3 feet in the air, but can't jump 12 inches forward.
- I can get snared on a blade of grass, the hitbox on a non-corporeal entity (ghost/wraith)
- I can get stuck between two NPC's that are standing slightly less than shoulder width apart, yet they are literally immovable.
- I can get snared on the trailing edge of a slope.
- *semi related: I can be in mid roll dodge, get hit, and somehow get jerked back upright to my original position. (Tamrielic momentum, I guess...)
Anyone else feel like their longjump is even clunkier, just in this dungeon, possibly on purpose? Would be nice if they'd introduce 'hang time.' The longer you hold the button, the higher you jump (up to your max).
Bug/poor coding/FYI: One other thing that may not have been noticed by all, the Shalk targeted attacks don't care what your vertical position is. I found this out at the second spawn, where they come down the hill. If you make your way around them, get tartgeted, and try to jump over the Shalk ball (which would be easily cleared, considering the slope of the hill), as soon as your X and Y are within range, it will still trigger on you.
I have not, nor can I do it. As a person that's not an ESO+ subscriber I do not buy 'fake' DLCs. HotR and lizard DLCs are just... dungeons and nothing more.
I ran this very few times, maybe 8 and was the first couple weeks after release, only pugs and finished 2 times (which is not bad, also considering could have been 3 if we didn't ran very short on time, the content was very new), so it's been 2 over a few runs but NOT hm. Organized group is another world from pug, the real question here would be how many hm completed pugging.

Is it still pug if it's from your guild?

I dont think so, pug is what you end up with in dungeon finder, totally random.

xD I know, but thought I would try. Did falkreath hardmode with pugs >.> everyone in guild had a group already . It took five hours and I dreamed of dodging red aoe after that night.
@Dantaria ...Look at the concentric rings that make up the center of the playing field. Watch the ground travelling fireball and you'll see it change form when it hits that barrier. If you're tank has the boss(es) outside of that barrier already, the lava spawn is pretty much instantaneous at present location.Lava spawn is extremely buffling. Boss spawns it forward, I think, but distance, wtf is distance based on?

Second, (not 100% sure on this, as there's usually a hell of a lot going on by that point), I believe the three rings of the arena are where the lava ball has to reach to form the pool. That is, first boss's lava ball has to hit the out ring. Mid boss's has to hit the edge of the middle ring. Little guy's just has to reach the very first ring.
