This likely has nothing to do with the game. It is a major software issue/conflict or a hardware resource or failure issue.

    Check the Windows event log.

You need better cooling, try cleaning it first if clean more cooling is the solution.

Grinding just make you go in circles.

How much? it hardly go above 4GB.
And ESO will lag a lot if its starved for ram.
To me it looks like ESO require some serious hardware to run smooth. i7+980ti+32GB and no lag, have loading screen as I don't have ESO on SSD, that is next project.

Check if your graphics card is updated. If you're using NVIDIA, some updates can break some things, meaning you might need to revert to an older driver because of this issue. I've had this issue multiple times in the past, and reverting it tends to help.

I would highly recommend reading the NVIDIA reddit on what updates work and what cause issues for people. Sometimes, they release crappy updates that can screw up systems, and you're often left in the shade if you aren't informed. I would also recommend using the program DDU to uninstall previous NVIDIA updates to wipe your previous driver, so it doesn't cause other problems..

Luckily, I have not updated my windows 10 to its latest iteration for quite some time now as I find the version I have currently is really stable.

If you get a blue screen, there should be a crash dump created by Windows.

You can analyze it using the Windows debugging tools. It will give you a hint at the cause of the crash.

A BSOD can be caused by many things: a faulty driver, a faulty SSD, overheated CPU, etc.

It is unlikely that ESO is the source of the BSOD. If ESO was faulty, you would rather get a crash to desktop (not a BSOD).
