I'm not sure why you care about people caring about bots...

Actually, I'm doing this as a social experiment of sorts, where I'm tracking and reporting groups of bots over a period of time and recording the results and daily happenings. Is this exciting to most of the player base? No. Is it my time that I can decide to use how I want? Yes.

I'm not going to tell you that you show care about bots. I'll tell you why I care.

I like this game. I play this game for enjoyment. These people infringe on that in many little ways that diminish the ability of all of us to enjoy this game. This is not meant as a comprehensive list of those ways.
1. They farm mobs for exp and gold, without even the decency to actually have butt in chair, fingers on keyboard like those of us players who farm mobs for exp and gold do.
2. Their gold from this not-actually-playing-the-game farming harms the economy for players who actually earn their gold.
3. The items they loot from this not-actually-playing-the-game farming harms the game economy for players who actually earn their items.
4. They level without actually leveling, gaining experience without learning anything. Even a Skyreach baby has to at least play the game.
5. They deprive others of questing areas when they form bot trains, monopolizing certain mobs, areas, and resources so that actual players must compete with numerous, tireless farming machines.

Finally, they are cheaters, cheating the system for their own benefit. They are exploiters, exploiting whatever holes ZOS has in their security to gain gold, items, and experience by methods that are deliberate cheating.

While I might at some point adopt the Serenity Prayer and say "Stendarr, grant me the serenity to accept what I can't change" I will never accept that botting is not a cheat, an exploit, and a thoroughly distasteful way of manipulating the game.

I also reported the same old bots in Karthdar (both instances) Haven beach, and new bots (new to me) in Shadowfen near Percolating Mire Wayshrine, Hissimir Wayshrine, and the Retiulating Spine Dolmen, turning in over 56 reports.

Those numbers are your coordinates in the current zone from when you tagged the bots with the scanner.

Another feature of the addon allows you to post that same location in zone chat. Other Bot Scanner users (with the feature enabled) will then automatically get an on screen notification and a waypoint to your location to also report the bots without ever needing to group or interact with you in any way.
