The most powerful versions of the items that were only obtainable via PvE will only be available for gold or AP. If gold jewelry for these sets is going to be available in ESO at all then there should also be a dungeon related way to get it. I DON'T want it to be common and I DON'T want it to be easy to get either. Make it super rare, maybe add an "extra hard mode" and have gold jewelry be an uncommon reward- possibly only if the dungeon is also being completed as a pledge, anything would be fine. It's already difficult enough to motivate people to do dungeons right now as so few dungeon sets can compete with the best sets that are crafted or obtained from the PvP vendors and I don't want to see it get worse. Pledges are one of my favorite things in this game and I simply want them to offer competitive rewards with the other areas of the game.
I feel you, but gold jewelry isn't going to make people grind more. Way easier to grind out 500k gold with no stress than puffing another 4man for the 30000th time to not get that gold ring you want.

Man i wish pvp had any competetive rewards compared to pve.
I think literally the last time i wore a pvp dropped set for an extended period of time was two and a half years back when archmage was a thing pre patch 1.6.
The gold dungeon/overland jewelry will not be obtainable with gold if i understood it right.

But buuuuuut... you use 2 pvp dropped sets on this certain class you play
Huh? What have i missed?
I´ve tried a couple of pvp sets in the past. Never found them to be worthwhile.

Now if there is a set I want to try and I don't already have the purple one then I may buy the gold one to forgo farming...

I can put it another way to help you ---> Try more than one playstyle in Cyrodiil.
My debuff tank is currently wearing Fasalla's 5-piece as a support set ... my healer is currently wearing 5-piece Transmutation as a support set.
Though I could see how these two might be "overlooked" in a cavalier forums counter-post.

Only spoke about my main class which is magica sorc.
There´s not one pvp dropped set i´ve wanted to utilize on that char since 1.6 hit.

Yes, the difference in pure stats is not that great, but that's not the point...
The point is to complete your build and maximize it...
All of my gear is currently Gold with the exception of my Rings and Necklass; my build is incomplete as a result...
Vet hard mode should drop gold jewelry.
Vet hard mode should drop gold jewelry.
I was going to post that. This is actually an excellent idea. It would encourage again skillful gameplay for dungeons instead of just mindless completing them for keys.
