Transmutation system with base update 16?

Seems to me that the only way your going to take advantage of this system is to buy the DLC? You can't change traits of your gear outside of clockwork city which you have to pay to get it.
So the base game update 16 update won't provide you with this new system for free. Am I missing something? Cause I tried clockwork on the PTS and no where else in the world exists the transmutation station.

By getting enough master writ vouchers, you can bye a transmutation table from Rollis and change traits, I'm not sure but I think the price is like 1250 vouchers.

You can get your first inn room for free. Also many of the houses are available for gold after your first.

You can get a free apartment in Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, and/or Ebonhart by picking up the quest in any bank.

That's spellcrafting which was brought up years ago and seemingly abandoned. This is just letting you change the traits of gear.

You don't even have to buy the DLC or your own crafting station. Simply join a guild that has stations in the hall. Most of them will have it shortly after the update.

You can also get one yourself, but yeah that won't be worth it as much

You can also buy the station for your house with master writ vouchers or crowns. Or from someone else with gold.

In any case isn't that the same with other DLC? You can't get a vMA weapon if you don't have Wrothgar.

And transmutation is a system for changing traits in weapons and armour

You know what I would really like? A transmutation for armor styles. When you have a lot of motif's it sucks to have to craft an entire new set if you want to change your look.

My ideal scenario would have master crafters (every trait researched) be able to change motif styles to armor for a fee. This would give a cool perk for those who take the time to research everything and not feel like it was a waste of time.

They mentioned that’s coming too, not in this update but a future update

GIve it a rest. Spellcrafting will never come and for a good reason. It would be nigh impossible to balance. People will just instantly make all the best skills/spells and that will be the end of any balance as we know it. Giving such freedoms to people in a MMO is not a wise choice. It's a good idea only in a single player game where you can have your power fantasies all day long, but a MMO must have it's restraints for the sake of the greater good.
    Sometimes, I dream about...cheese...

Dermont - v16 Pompous Altmer Sorcerer (With a very arrogant face!)
Egonieser - v16 Nord Stamina Dragonborn Wannabe
Endoly - v16 Tiny Redguard Sharpened MaceBlade
Egosalina - v16 Breton Cheesus Beam Specialist
Egowen - v16 Dunmer Whipping Expert (Riding crops eluded her)
(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)
Akamanakh - lvl 22 Khajiit GankBlade (Inspired by Top Cat)
Targos Icewind - lvl 34 Imperial (Future) Jabplar
    (CP 830+)

only if this ask you to know the motif to convert ... i have farmed my armiger motif during 3 week , and it's not for nothing.

You on about pal? Transmutation is the name of something in a fantasy land I know nothing of, could easily have been what I said.

    To clarify this statement;
As long as the Devs refuse to separate PvE and PvP we will never get Spellcrafting because the PvP players would get salty as F.
I'm not prejudiced; I hate everyone equally !

Yes, of course. The crafter himself would have to have the full motif learned.

I'm glad they are going to add this in a future update. Hopefully it's not too far away.

Suspect this too, first for PvP you would want bomb or gank spell, imagine an crystal blast version who cost 50k magic in pvp and does 8x the damage.
Imagine that an raid group can do with stacking weakness spells.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

We don't know how style change will work, if lucky you can sell style armor as in white armiger chest for other to change style into.

I however would go for this look

For obvious reasons bis race for this style would be Argonian and she lack the bucket.
