Brother, I get and support the desire for wanting account-wide achievements, but don't put passive aggressive poll options for choices that are the opposite of what you want.

Shame that people have to post stupid polls that serve no purpose other than venting. Perhaps one day we'll actually have an unbiased poll that leads to a decent discussion!

However, I do not want achievements to be account-wide, as far as I'm concerned the whole point of playing multiple characters is to play the game with them, not to level one up and have the rest share everything they did.

I'm fine with the idea of an account-wide display that shows all the achievements earned across the account but not with other characters benefiting from ones they didn't earn themselves.

I understand, however, that some players want to roll alts purely for the endgame, and rather than have account-wide achievements I'd rather they could buy a level cap token for a lot of crowns that could only be applied to accounts with a qualifying amount of achievement points on it. It could either be set so that it replicated the achievements across your characters or else so that it made your character up to maximum achievements. I'm not sure which people would prefer, personally I wouldn't touch them!

As for CPs, if we're stuck with them being account-wide then they should only be available to alts when they hit level 50. There are too many players running around with level 3 characters with 660CPs complaining that the content is too easy!

man, dont u understand that Im in despair and crying ZOS make this achievment account-wide?
I've spoiled 3 years on sorcerer not for discussion with mate I dont even know. I just need positive result for myself. Its very selfish, but not completely. Cuz a lot of achi-maniacs liked my poll and they understand me and any discussion can solve problem. And I just have a problem and wanna just positive decision, but not million reasons why I must farm titles again and again.

Aside from the complaints regarding the bias, lets be honest here: Achievements are meant to be some sort of target, which you aim for 100%. Just By having things like "Deal 999999999 Damage in Battlegrounds" and at the same time one for "Tank 999999999 damage" and "Heal 9999999999 damage" makes me think it would only be fair for these to be account wide. Lets suppose you have a single character, lets say, stamblade. How in the hell are you gonna heal people for a million during a single BG match? Switch to resto staff? Thats just lame

So i was talking with some people ingame ... and this make me realize that some people farm achievement in all their char , this would be so sad to destroy all their work simply by making achievement account wide.

This is why i think that they should better add a tab for " Account achievement " and this would have the same presentation but with the name of the char who have this or this achievement.

btw i'm not " Morvane ", same avatar but different people.

So, you want your character to take credit for something it did not do?

I would like to be able to take credit on a character for something I did. I would like to show off my achievements and time I've invest into the game regardless of which character I am playing on.

Whilst I am a roleplayer and for me each character is different in their backgrounds and stories I don't feel like they're separate entities which are reflections of my creation and achievements.

That said...no, achievements shouldn't be account wide. If you are really that much of a completionist, work for it. There is a new poll for this every week.

Fah, once you've achieved something, you've achieved it. We should be able to create new characters with titles we've earned. It's one of the few things that WoW does right and it goes right in-line with the other account wide options such as shared mounts, shared costumes, and even shared mementos that for the longest time were character-based only.

Anyone got a link to the flogging a dead horse meme - rubbish poll with bias and no nuance, plenty of people support things like the ability to display a consolidated view of achieves for an account so people can keep score while still keeping separate views so that those who believe this is an RPG can do their thing too.

This approach just means that people who might support a compromise will vote against you because you are behaving like a blanking blank.

I'd be okay with everything but alliance war achievements being account-wide. I'd rather not be AR50 on all my characters >.> I like having the different ranks and working on ranking up a new character in PvP and such. It's actually quite enjoyable and keeps me going more often than not in PvP. It's just a slight incentive, I'd rather that not change.

I would like to see an -additional- "Account Achievement Overview" page, that shows which achievement was done on what character when, etc. With possibly giving out extra rewards for multiple completions (like, complete this or that achievement on characters of all five classes, or all three alliances, etc.)
