I know for a fact they can take both servers offline separately, as they have done a few weeks back, when apparently there was something going on on the NA server.
So why not separate the maintencance times and also do the maintenance for EU in the night time?
I just don't get it...
Mate if you think they don't care about Eu, you should move to Australia.
Every single maintenance is in prime time for us (6pm normally, 8pm today).
Otherwise no one has details for you as ZOS doesn't really talk about it. Most people just invent their own conspiracy "grr ZOS" theory and rant post so, dunno.
- Update 23Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus

It is a business decision which probably saves money and effort for them and it seems for them worth the risk that EU players feel like "secondary" costumers. Get use to it or play another game! (Alot of new games will release soon which are worth a shot to try out)

Hi there,
I'm fairly new to the game and havent really seen the servers down for maintenance - or perhaps I just havent noticed.
How does this usually take ? I've been looking at the "Maintenance section" of the forums and nothing is stated neither about what the plan is nor about how long they expect it top be offline.

Its based on American times, as its an American company.

Interesting... I'm assuming u are American?

I think there must still be quite a good deal of players at this time. Early morning, like from 5 in the morning, would have been much much less interruptive wouldn't you think? I mean how many plays ESO at 5 in the morning?
If I have to guess then I would say it's cheaper to get technicians to run maintanence during work hours than early hours?

I guess I shouldn't complain, feel sorry for ya here. I assume you play on US servers? Does the distance affect your latency much?

Yes, yes it does. Which is why all Australians don't give a #@$& when some American streamer complains about the latency being 100.

100, wow. I wish mine was 100.
I'm 300-400
