What do you think is a fair price for the Transmutation Station furnishing?

Keep it at this price. There will be a transmutation station in the clockwork city quest hub.

If you want access then save up your writs or support the game by subing or buying the DLC.

Don't care. For something that is seconds away from a wayshrine it loses any value if it's available in my house.

They have been getting my support since console launch. I have ESO+ and far too many mounts and other things I’ve bought from the crown store. This isn’t like a deal breaker for me because like you just said I can go to the city to use it. Trial players like to wear their HM titles and wear their skins. Give us Master Crafters to show off. I was so proud of myself for getting to 9 trait because it’s taken forever.

If we had it the way I suggested people really shouldn’t be whining. It took two years to be 9 trait. It takes someone a long time to get the amount of vouchers needed for the table. I wasn’t able to purchase things to make my research go faster when I was learning traits. They now have it and people still complain.

At least twice the price for attunable stations. I do think the current price is a tad too much, 1k would be more accessible without being to accessible. But the cheaper the better for me since I don't have many vouchers at all since I don't craft much, so 500 vouchers for me is still a loooong way. That's why I put 500. Cause I'm selfish.

I think it would be cool if you got it as a “reward” for being 9 trait across the board. And of course, you can buy it with vouchers. Would help give meaning to being 9 traits.

I think that would be an awesome achievement for having 9 traits across the board which shows a real dedication to crafting. Right now I don't believe we get any kind of in-game achievement at all.

I personally think that transmutation can only be done by master crafters...and that BoE gear should stay BoE when transmuted...will finally give master crafters a chance to reap the benefits of being 9 traits on everything...

I don't really care on the price, Maybe a little lower around the 500-750 mark.

However I also feel that the benches should be in every major city for free use.
Transmutation is a base game feature and shouldn't have the free benches locked behind a DLC paywall.

True, this is something that could be an issue.
They can't very well claim this as a base game feature with no station access at all, without paying more money, for the solo guild-less player.

Not much else if you arbitrarily don't care about any of the other options or possible future options or are rich enough or spend enough time to load up on master writs and vouchers.....
This price is made just for you, the writ-sink for the exorbitantly-wealthy.

The problem is that not everyone has everything else they want purchased yet, let alone that station.
The same problem has been with those notable homes over 3 million gold. How many of you actually have even one of them or all of them? I had to buy the Mathiisen Manor with crowns because I still have bank slots to buy and all sorts of other things, let alone "butt-wiping money" to spend on a stupidly overpriced house.

That's the right kind of selfish as it also helps others.
Imagine if everyone looked at everything selfishly rather than the "exclusivity of only being available to the rich" then the world would be a better place, by being more selfish. No joke. That could possibly be the answer to a lot of problems.

For each crafting station? That would take FOREVER. You would become a master crafter faster.

The 1250 for the Transmutation Station, not crafting stations. I think the attunable crafting stations are a bit high at 250 each. I've been working on getting all of the attunables for my guild home and that certainly isn't cheap. Unless you are looking to furnish a guild home with crafting stations, there isn't a whole lot else to spend the writ vouchers on. I really wish they would add Mundus Stones to the writ voucher vendor.

It's a serious station and shouldn't be practically given away. It makes Master writs more worthwhile as well.

As for the poll, it's kinda pointless since most people would want most anything for less.

Well, seems right now its 53% for keep price as is, but likely to change.

My vote is to try and get its value related to its function - not transmuting - thats not its function. you can transmute for free if you have the crystals at the DLC station.

What you are paying for is the convenience of having it somewhere else and/or avoiding purchase of the DLC to get this function (unless they lock it to CWC owners.)

Thats like a few minutes of savings each time you have 40 crystals and a need.

When i compare it to the utility gained by say target dummies for the same crowd likely to get a noticable amount of use from the transmute, 1250 seems out of whack. But thats me.

i based mine on the other "pay for convenience of not having to go to DLC" items, the attunable stations. 250-750 seems the range i would be happy with given that and the ongoing need for crystals.

So, mine was not motivated by "cheaper" but by "comparative value vs comparative price."

It's highly irrelevant what the poll states by any measure.

A significant part of many populations want things for less or free. Tyats not even getting into the forums hardly reflect the game population.

I do not think that it should cost more than attunables. Considering the grind of getting the stones itself, I do not see any merit of keeping the price of the station so high.

The only benefit of this high price I can imagine is for Zeni - to force people either to buy DLC or spend crowns to get one, because of too much grind for vouchers on top of grind for crystals.

Personally speaking, I want it only for looks, as decoration for my workshop. I am ESO+ member and I do not need it at home for functionality as I can always travel to CWC. And there's no way in hell I'm paying 1250 vouchers for cosmetic item.

fine fine to you polls dont matter & you have data that shows most want lower prices for anything (or whatever your data says) thanks for contributing so much... its very illuminating.

Meanwhile, as i stated the issue for me and for some others is that the price needs to be linked to the gain and the gain is not - for those with access to CWC - "able to transmute" but simply "where do i have to go to transmute" which is way out of whack with 1250 based on the other items we can compare to.

1250 as a referendum price on being able to transmute - thats a different story. But this is for a furnishing and mostly not the same thing.

i would not be surprised to see the price dropped by CWC live, but also not surprised to see it stay.

agree... tho for me putting it out and having my guildies benefit is a plus too, but not for 1250.
