I have to agree that a desktop would be preferable. My £800 laptop with geforce 840M is only for when I am away from my desktop. I do get frustrated playing eso on my laptop after a while. If you purchased a desktop and laptop with exact same specs the desktop would still out perform the laptop due to aforementioned thermal issues. That, and basic laptops are not designed for gaming, even if they have a dedicated gpu; their peripheries (screen, inputs etc) are not optimised for it. @PlagueSD has the right idea.

Otherwise, if you want longer battery life and don't need to run demanding tasks, then go with dual core ULV.

For starters, maybe you should first turn off your CAPS lock before getting a new computer. My $0.02

If you do end up buying a computer, know that CPU and graphics card are going to be the most expensive components.

I'm curious on why you chose such old stuff at higher prices than newer. The 7600k can be overclocked and will run circles round that 4000 series.

Because that's my current hardware and I was at work (lunch) so really didn't feel like putting more energy in. Just giving the OP a general idea of what to buy. They can do the "best price" shopping. I've been building/upgrading my own PC since the 1990's. Last computer I bought was a i386 66mhz with 4MB of RAM. I've upgraded ever since. That way I don't have to deal with bloatware pre-installed that slows the system down even more.
