It ran the game okay, for a basic laptop. On High graphics with all the extras turned off (shadows, bloom, etc.) I was getting 30 fps overland, 20 fps in towns and dungeons. Trials and PvP were difficult - I topped out at 8-10 fps on Trial boss fights, and 5-10 fps in Cyro zergs. Don't expect to do any streaming or be able to open a browser window while you play, as the game routinely used over 80% of both my RAM and CPU power.
Three days ago the laptop just quit working. My repair guy told me that I played too much and the fan wore out and the CPU overheated and I fried it. I had it for 15 months, so of course it was JUST out of warranty. Total loss.
Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a real gaming laptop, something like this: http://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/lenovo-legion-y-series-laptops/Lenovo-Y520-15IKBN/p/88GMY500808
If you play as much as I do, you're gonna wear that Acer out in a year, and then you'll want something better anyways...
**Edited to add that prior to the total failure, I had also lost the touchpad and both USB ports on the left side. And just last week I had to replace the charger, as well. I'm very gentle with laptops - had my last one for 7 years before I retired it - so I feel like this one just wasn't very well made...
Here is the deal with Nvidia Video Cards. You want a 60 or better in the number, so a 960 or 970 or 980 etc. x50 is on the cusp of what you can 3D game with. A while back, the x40 cards were for business use, not gaming. They are 3D in the sense that you can put a 3D pie chart on a presentation.

I was keeping his budget in mind based on the price of the model he originally linked. You can always buy a nice PC or Laptop if you have lots of money. Its when you have a limited budget that things get tricky. Even then, I am $100 over, your choices are more than that.

I was referring to you telling the OP that an "x50" Nvidia card is "on the cusp of what you can 3D game with." That may have been true with the 900 series (although I made it work for 15 months) but it is certainly not true of the newer 10 series.
