Thanks.
I'm having a deja vu reading this thread.
As in, yep it's been requested a lot in the past to add some option to not get DLC dungeons as low-level player. Don't ask me why ZOS doesn't even care to reply to all those requests...

The lack of reading comprehension in this thread truly saddens me...
It does seem to be a dlc dungeon more often than not, though I think I get prison more often than wgt myself.
Personally I don't mind the dungeon so it doesn't bother me.
Please learn to be concise. And, for all the *** spouting 'reading comprehension,' I suspect there has to be enough content from which to derive a reasonable conclusion.heartburnkid wrote: »lol, sorry, i love spell power cure too much, no need to delete, just get betterMerlin13KAGL wrote: »Lol. Word of advice: If you're having issue with WGT, don't even go near the door of the other DLC dungeons, and don't even mutter the name of the two in HoTR.
Please learn to read. I never once said it was a difficulty issue. It just ques way too much. I would like them to look into the 'random' aspect and see if it is working as intended, because from where I sit it looks broken.

It is very nice to see my thread on deleting players was unconstructive and bait, whereas this thread is none of those things. The forum just the way I remembered it.
To be fair, I never understood why DLC dungeons were part of the "random normal dungeon" daily, and even more so why they are included regardless of your character level.
They close off other dungeons to low levels because they're too "hard" but leave the objectively harder dungeons open, which skews the chances that you will get a DLC dungeon for your normal random daily.
It just makes no sense.

Three reasons, @Illurian :
- The limitation on regular dungeons is a carryover from when the zones were actually level based and the 4 man's were as well. It follows the original 'recommended level' of that design.
- It wouldn't be good practice to have someone pay for content (whether DLC directly or via ESO+) and then effectively prevent them from accessing said content. Normal on these is fairly easy, even at lower level scaled. What they should come with is a one-time-per-character pop up indicating the expected difficulty factor and recommended level/cp. People would still want the option to continue anyway, as they paid for the content.
- Third, you can choose the dungeons to run/restrict via the Specific Finder. Aside from the XP bonus and a handful or rewards, the net result is the same and the option is basically already provided. They could make this slightly more convenient by offering a Check All button, then one could uncheck the undesirables.
The daily and the convenience is the only real reason to run a random. If you are not after either of those aspects, Specific Finder will do the same thing and let you pick and choose.
The problem with posts like this is that for ever one that doesn't like X content but absolutely adores Y, someone else feels the opposite. SDF solves both of their issues without restricting access to those that paid.
