Take away the ap you get from taking a keep!

In my opinion let everyone get ap for fighting and getting kills and if people want emperorship then they can push for it while getting kills nobody cares about emp ship anyway.

    There really are too many players that do nothing but go for the AP by flipping empty keeps and resources and will just run away if there is even a semblance of a fight there. It should scale on enemies you fight vs how many of you there are. If you zerg a couple guys on a resource or take an empty resource you shouldn't get that much AP.

    yeap pretty much that. As well what xaraan is asking for is already a thing, the more you kill before you cap it the more you get. And don't say nerf O-ticks cause they used to be really low and it was a horrible time for all.

    There needs to be a reason for players to show up at a place and find a fight. Since Cyrodiil is huge you could derp around forever looking for players if they all just scattered about and had no particular reason to clump up anywhere.

    Sounds like elite talk to me. I'd suggest that if you don't want other players to get AP for taking your resources, go and defend them.

    Keep and resource ownership is tied into where you can fast travel to, where you can respawn after dying, how weak or strong the defences and NPC defenders are, etc. Taking resources to prevent enemies fast travelling to a keep you want to attack is legitimate strategy. Cutting off a keep you want to attack so that dead people have to respawn further away is a legitimate tactic.

    These are all tactical strategies used in wars and have a place in the game, so successfully completing these activities should be rewarded.

    Maybe you just don't want other people getting AP while you are asleep, your alliance is undermanned, or perhaps hate it that people go straight for a resources to get 'easy AP' instead of attacking a zerg. Telling me I cannot get AP because I log on while everyone else is asleep, or cannot get any AP unless I find other players to fight, is simply ludicrous.

    Most of the time we not only have to fight the faction inside the keep but also the other faction then comes along and tries to steal our capture. Do not know where people get this empty keep crap, unless they play at 3 AM on an empty server.
    OF course that is the life of EP. lol

    I care about getting EMP, took me 3 years to get on the popular campaign and if it takes another 3 years to get then by Joe I'll stick at it

    But dont take away my 6k AP for taking a keep

    your comments show you know nothing about tactics in cyrodil. Also you want to penalize people if there is no enemy to fight. that will push people away from cyrodil.

    Take away the requirement for pretty much every stamina build to require to pvp to get 2 needed skills.

    Pvp will never be as awesome as it could be when pvers are forced into participating which is exactly what the current system does, they dont want to pvp but they need the ap so keep flipping is there only option.

    Flipping keeps and resources is a bad form of AP farming. Killing people is quicker. If people want to spend 10 minutes fighting a wall for 2k ap, let them.

    I think we should just take away all AP, gather in a big ring, do /sitchair, and have a thorough discussion about our differences.

    You want all the fighting to go on at Alessia bridge and Chal mine with nothing in between? They should INCENTIVE objective based PvP because people already barely do it - how many times have you seen your alliance lose emp, all keeps and both scrolls while 90% of its member were busy ap farming at Alessia bridge or wherever? This'd just turn Cyro into a free for all at 2-3 convenient locations, might as well remove Cyro and introduce a giant battle pit then. What it'd also do is make it very easy for few dedicated players to actually win campaign/emp because no one would care/bother defending. No thank you.
