Yes and thank god too, the last cyrodiil event was a noob/disconnect/lag fest.

Let them have an undaunted pledge fest so the PVE people can wait in infinite load screens and gap close into purgatory.

funny is that according to the player tracker on Steam (a small portion I know) imperial city was the only DLC that caused a downturn in players, that is to say, we lost players during IC compared to other DLC.

this is really not surprising to anyone that watches the industry as any game / mode / whatever that tries to blend PvE and PvP together ends in failure (and this was likely one of the causes for the second half of the justice system going away) and it came right after a long drought of no content (the console launch months)

I think it would have done better had they released Wrothgar first then IC after. as it was everyone was pretty pissed we waited so long for THAT, and everyone could not get to Wrothgar soon enough (and that launched like RIGHT after)

plus they have never really gotten IC right or made it relevant, wish there was some way to just make it part of the cyro overland but whatever.

(the largest upturn of players was / has been both one tamriel and housing. it should be noted that both of these were free updates that overhauled the game quite a bit. but they both brought in and held a massive amount of new players. population after them was three times more then steams initial launch)

though ZOS would not have had this data until after one tamriel and housing confirmed it. the free overhauls brought in (and held) WAY more players (like 2-3 times more) then any DLC (including morrowind) those players then will purchase previous DLC.

as the games lifecycle goes on it will actually be more cost effective to create large free updates / DLC / overhauls that bring in new players and cause them to hopefully buy pre existing DLC / chapters then it would to create paid DLC for your current player base. as your current players all spending $10-$20 on new dlc is less then new players spending ~$60ish on pre existing content plus crown store content that current players have like also already brought as well.

this is a win for everyone involved :D

    2 dungeon
    big area
    PVP zone
    Telvar
    3 costumes.
    Awesome Design
Awesome dungeon mechanic ( at the release ,now it's just " nuke " strat )

Best DLC at the release compare to other DLC at their release .
Now it's just a " apothicary scathel " farm zone.
