What's better a dropped armor set or a crafted set ?

    They're pretty well balanced at the moment. Most people use a dropped armor set for their jewelry because you can't craft jewelry.

    It just depends on your playstyle and what fills the holes your character has :)

    Yeah, it depends on what you're doing. A lot of players will use crafted sets while leveling, but for endgame, it's pretty balanced.

    This... Even for non DPS builds, for continued solo experience many sets compliment each other very well and the combo of 1 each goes a long way.

    • 1 set dropped for jewelry and two armor pieces
    • 1 set crafted for remaining armor + weapons (no more grinding for BIS weapons; unless you're a min/maxer)
    • 1 monster set

    depends also on what sets you want to use, some sets are highly random or (purple) jewlery is hard to come by so combining them with a crafted set might be easier if you don't like grinding... besides that i think the set combo depends sooo much on your character that i think your logic needs to be

    what do i play - class, stam/magicka, role etc...
    which set support that specific character the best
    are these set combos crafted or grinded

    the benefit of crafting of course is that you can force your look

    Its seem right now its one crafted set and one dropped set. If u dw sometime u can fit a monster set in as well.
