Forums barely work, Game wont log in... anyone else?

    I got on for 5 seconds. Said I had 3000 ping lol.... annnnnnnnnndddddd its gone.

    I reloaded from Steam, just to appease those folk who think I don't take a pro-active approach to these issues. I'm now doing the real install, probably for another hour.

    Its now 01:15 here. i haven't been able to use this product since 17:00 (5PM).

    On the plus side, whilst all these problems have been going on, a new mount and pet have suddenly appeared on the game ad-window. Sadly, the new mount appears to be just an 'old mount' in a new colour.
    I got suspenders for saying "Testicular Mass" instead of "Balls". like, rilly.

    I imagine the game login server and forum server are in the same place and therefore involve the same routing. Even if not, the hop that is causing the hitch could well be closer to the players than the servers and so still utilise the same routing at that point.

    I've been crashing a lot lately. Especially after the last two patches. Especially during the last boss fight in dungeons. Not mid-dungeon, always last boss. Tried repairing and all the other good stuff except contacting customer support because I really don't think they can help after what I've gone through since playing this game.

    Please give me a idea how I can cancel my membership and get a reimbursement for the 21 days I wont be allowed to play due to this...

    I will resubscribe when I can play again since I like the game but its literally not working for some people on this side of the world...

    from aus, pc na. and had no issues last few days. but i am mostly connected via vpn to canada (suck my meta data aus govt!)

    i just saw the comment above about an undersea cable and was thinking when i opened the thread i wonder if someone dredged one up again. theres a compay thats notorious for it. they've done it at least 3 times, and i think it was the same location.

    Try using a gaming vpn such as WTFast. It won't completely fix your latency but it will help you find the fastest connection to the game. Theres an auto select to make it easy too.

    I haven't used it for a while but for some pvp games it's a must. I wouldn't put an extra $10 a month just to make Eso playable ;)

    Same, renewed sub 3 days ago. Maybe next time I'll try to login first.

    Didn't I read the other day that a lot of Australians are back in the game again?

    What puzzles me is this. If there was a technical issue preventing a group of players from accessing the game and ZOS failed to resolve it even tho it was within their hands to do so, I can understand those players seeking a subscription adjustment to cover it, but if the issue is out of their hands why would they be held responsible for making reparation? Would you be wanting them to suspend all ESO+ benefits and if so for how long?

    As I understand it, there were two recent issues relating to a broken undersea cable and a major ISP provider (Optus). I've no idea if they were connected, but given that these are purely Australasian issues, have there been no updates in the Australasian press/online news?

    Maybe I worded my statement wrong and should have scrapped the word solution. I simply would like a clear statement, not only the usual 'We're investigating the issues' without an update.

    Tell us that the problem is on our end and therefore there will be no changes to our membership status. I have no problem with that, more communication and we'll know where we stand and what we need to be wary of.

    In regards to the undersea cable issue being in the news; well I subbed one day, and it was in the news the next.

    Anyway, I'll be back in a few ... weeks.

    I believe it depends on what provider are you with.
    Telstra users had 0 problems, Optus was really bad until last Friday, now it's almost fine
