Forums barely work, Game wont log in... anyone else?

Every site I go to works fine EXCEPT for the eso forums. I can load multiple twitch streams while watching multiple youtube videos all at once without delay HOWEVER eso forums wont work without a fight of multi loads and long wait times.

The game wont log on, errors out the ***. Errors 200, 108 etc...

Literally seems like EVERYTHING else works fine but the eso forums and the game servers..

Anyone else having this issue? aka forums barely working and log on issues while every other game and site works fine?

Id love to edit this to be in more detail and to show more images but this has taken way to much time already... and to press edit and wait for my text to appear and not just the ****ing background behind the forums is not worth it...

Yes. Long load times for ESO forum pages. This is something fairly recent, but seems to be getting worse.

Any ideas why, and what you can do about it @ZO$ ?

Same here with the Samsung default browser. The forums only work with Chrome but I use the default browser for everything else (including this forum until the recent forum makeover since when it's been slower than usual on my desktop).

No problems playing on the PC EU server from the UK, now or at any time since the PC launch.

I haven't played in several days but I'm trying to do daily crafting writs and it's nearly unplayable. 999+ lag in Craglorn, takes 45 seconds to pull a writ off the board. Can't mount. Can't bar swap.

I'm literally at my wit's end and about to quit this game.

So let me see if I have this right.....everyone else can get in fine, but you cant play on EU or US server from Australia....and its somehow ZOS who needs to "fix their ****"?

This is the point that we hear, "Yeah, but I can play game X or watch streaming service Y just fine!"

Thats like saying, "Stupid mechanic.....he cant pinpoint the reason why my car gets crappy mileage! He should be able to... my radio works just fine."

Just because your ISP lets you touch one target without issue doesnt mean you will hit EVERY target that way. Tons of possible reasons. One GREAT example is the people who are seeing service slowdowns because of their location in the US; they may not be anywhere NEAR Texas, but the way they connect to ZOS means the issues there will effect them.

Yeah, there are people who have issues connecting or staying stable with ESO, and they are vocal. The thing you DONT see is people creating forum posts stating, "Hey, thanks, ZoS! This makes 3 years playing this game and I've had almost no connection or stability issues whatsoever!" And I can tell you right now with perfect confidence that the people with no such issues profoundly outnumber those with.
The opinions of others should always be heard, especially if they dont agree with your own! But you always reserve the right to laugh at them.

I couldnt hear you with your head so far up ZOS ...

Its a problem on their end which happens to be effecting a range of people in a certain area of the world.. So instead of kissing up to ZOS realise that some people just want to be able to log on.. if thats not too much to ask for..

Every day someone posts a thankyou message to zos... get over yourself and stop trying to get them to hire you as a spokesperson..

EDIT: Removed the mean comments. Its just really hard to not call someone stupid when they say things like that..

    Agreed.

Plus, when players do complain about problems running the game you're lucky if they bother to mention the platform and server they're on, they certainly don't bother to mention their 8 year old laptop with integrated graphics and wireless internet connection or the 164 addons they consider essential to playing the game  !

Yes every person (a lot of people) all have a bad computer and all have a million add-ons. Every single one WITHOUT a doubt have 100G of *** downloading as well and dropped ice cream in the fans... Obviously..

OR MAYBE, some people... amazingly enough.. just want to be able to log into the game. Gasp.

I am currently reinstalling. Looking at the download graph is just frightening; it appears to be some network event here in Australia. However, that conclusion wouldn't have been obvious, without running the reinstall process.

It may not be necessary for ZOS to take responsibility for this, however, they would have the ability to identify any comms issues between their equipment and their Australian customers. Some attempt at identifying the problem would go a long way to providing the minimum level of service expected by their customers.

Alternately, they could just ignore the issue and the small customer base here in Australia.

Your comment about people not thanking ZOS for good service, have actually done that by continuing to buy this product.
Also, I have seen comments thanking ZOS for improving game play. Strange as this may sound, I have been one of those people.

What continually frustrates people is that problems that appear to be resolved THEN EITHER RE-APPEAR OR SOME NEW PROBLEM IS INTRODUCED.

I'm not one of those who believes that every performance issue is down to the player, any more than you're hopefully not one of those who believes that everyone who says they've never had a single performance issue is lying. There are all manner of reasons why people have performance issues, some server-side, some player-side. That much is clear from the recent thread detailing PC fixes that have improved performance for a lot of players as well as the various threads ZOS have posted about fixes at their end. Some problems are neither player-side nor server-side, of course, but relate to networking issues between the two. That certainly seems to be the cause of a lot of the issues the Australian players have as well as NA server users generally, and players need to raise those with their ISP as well as with ZOS. Generally, however, the more information players provide about their situation the likelier it is that both ZOS and other players can help them.
