    The only thing that's annoying about vBC2 is the hardmode. It's not even hard, just pure annoying. Most tanks will stick at the boss with daedroths stacked there as well, adds keep dying, it's hard to damage only the boss if all but one ability (excluding light attack) are actually AOE. The knockbacks do not really cause any issues. So in these cases you just have to damage the boss (the adds will just die to aoe) till like 15-20%, then wait for an eternity, running around for a minute to let more daedroths spawn, then finish the boss off quickly.

    TBH, if a tank can't keep the adds away and still taunt the boss every now and then, then it's just better if he tanks only deadroths near the platform, away from the team. The boss himself doesn't really hit that hard (nothing simple hots can't outheal). In fact, on a healer, if I know the tank, I sometimes even slot inner fire, so DDs won't cry about the tank not doing his job.

    Actually the easiest HM clears I've had on DD were when the tank just left the boss to us and took care of the big guys (though sometimes we had to slow down a bit to let the tird one appear).

    As for non HM... It's a faceroll when you don't have to account for leaving daedroths alive.

    Veteran dungeons, even DLC ones aren't challenging enough tbh. :( They need to be buffed. You don't even need a tank anymore or healer or both... meh... :(

    Well if you did vma and still can't deal with something like knockback from the daedroth then dunno man, anyway you can block the fire from the daedroth and you wont get knockback or fire aoe, as for the red/blue curses again L2P.

    vMA Iis alone, i guess you know it, don't you? Not dealing with 3 other people, in vMA i control where stuff goess, i control where aoe poping under mean drops.. do i control otehr people going? do i control someone coming in front of me while having bosses flame going underhim passing me as i have 15% life left and knocked down in is flame trail? I presume sicne you're a smart guy i can't? and learning of l2p? Why don't you L2WAESIOBLWLAN? (Learn to write an entire sentence instead of being laysy with letters and numbers? I can do my job as a DPS, hegaler and tank, i cannot do them all in a 4 men... but, you know that don't you? If i clared vMA 86 times since my first success 3 weeks ago, is mainly because i do know what to do, not having to deal with some Forest Gumps runing all over the place.

    vet CoA2? easy as *** even with a pug, because you don't have stupid dps trying to tank it or healers trying to dps more than the dps themselves in that dungeon. with friends we often clearedit 3 men... same with BC1, BC2 and most of them pledges...

    yep when i'm healer and my friend is tanking and my other friends are dpsing or vice-versa roles it's easy, we don't even move when we get flames on us, we stack and we overheal everything as we keep heals on the tank as well at the same time as he plays with his 4-5 daedroth friends away from us. I presume it's just gonna be a new dungeon to avoid with pugs if i don't wanna get angry and waste my time there.

    the bc 2 change is stupid as AF, why should a non dlc dungeon be a challenging for a tank? dungeons should be ez for tanks so ppl actually want to play tank. with the knock up in bc2 u gotta pretty much perma block to prevent knock up and use dragon blood often to heal through the fire, even adds on vdsa last boss do less dmg. srsly zos, way to make low end pve content player unfriendly.
    Or maybe dungeons should be challenging enough to have people actualy learn how to tank?

    Facerolling for any class/role does nothing to improve player skill.

    They want you to mind your feet, be situationally aware, understand that you have to multitask to an extent (orbs/adds/curses)

    I tanked this yesterday. At one point (because a different method was bring tried), I had 8 daedroth on me and was still managing, so it's not as if it's not doable.

    OP, your healer should HoT you while you're running to uncurse. You should be calling out in voice comms (you did have voice comms, right?) that you had been cursed ("Blue/Red," "I'm in the air...")

    Beyond that, your group is doing it the hard way...
    1. Nuke everything, Daedroths included, until boss is around 20% (this will vary based on DPS)
    2. Let 3 Daedroths spawn. Kill orbs, mind fire, cure curses. Do not damage adds.
    3. When add #3 spawns, boss is already in execute range...burn.
    4. Retrieve 2 keys from what is arguably one of the easiest "Hard Mode" dungeons in the game...

    PUGged it, so forget voice comm.... with my friends, we don'T even need voice com since we know the drills and do what each of us needs to do, move, position ourselves... i never though that dungoen could be frustrating with a pug. As i said, with friends this is a piece of cake, we don'T even kill any daedroth, by the time there is 4-5 daedroths on the tank, the boss is dead and no one died... in PUG world, it always turns in a nightmare :)

    Cleared this yesterday for the pledge on HM. Didn't even notice a problem.

    as i said in OP, annoying, there is a small marging of something being annoying and fun... i love vMA, and there is lots of stuns, knockback etc in there... but, i control when it happens and on who it happens, me, but in a pug it's different story... i didn't said as he thinks i died lots of time and L2P as he laysy said... but i passed the entire tried resing people so i didn't do my job dpsing... i had to chose between resing someone or killing the orbs... well, when the daedroth forgot about me, that's my window chance to res someone, so forget the orbs, so what happens, heals him... if i kill the orbs, when im done i got daedroth on me and get interrupted resing... so the choice is easy, res the guy.. but what happens? someone dies as i res him, go res the other.. so what i had to do? DoT the boss as i ran to res the otehr guys, droping a few attacks on my way playing the SAR Tech (Search And Rescue Tech)... so basicly it was a resing training session and avoid others mistakes lol as my own self, it's easy to deal, pop magicka harness, start resing, AoE trail fire on my feets, pop magika harness, boss moves, tons of fire, pop magika harness, roll dodge fire, roll dodge attacks etc... i don't think i have much needs to L2P as you said. :)

    It's fixed since last patch, they worked as intented now, anyways, on my side they were.

    The only thing that needs to change is the knockdown fireballs. That mechanic only got added because they weren't able to fix the bug where the daedroth refused to leave the spawn platform and the ranged attacks gave them a way to still influence the fight. The curses are meaningless, they do very little damage and they don't do it quickly. The fire isn't that threatening unless you stand in it like an idiot, and it doesn't shift targets. Once the boss chooses his targets, fire will only spawn on them. Those people should just move away from the boss then return once the last flames proc.

    All the Daedroth CC is blockable, if you're getting knockdown 24/7, then you aren't paying attention, or you aren't doing your job as a damage dealer. Those things should be getting killed until boss is at 30% hp to get three up for hard mode.

    tl;dr: This is a braindead easy vet dungeon, stop being a crybaby and actually learn the mechanics

    you haven't read much don't you? i know it's an easy dungeon, if i clared vMA 86 times in the last 3 weeks since my first time, i don't think BC2 is stoping me, i said is annoying as with a pug. The only mechanics i don't know in game are DSA and HoF, so if you wanna teach me some mecs, let me know. ;)

    Ok man my apology, but seriously there is litearly zero content that prepares new players for the true end game, don't you agree that it is good thing to have a single mechanic in each of the non-dlc dungeons that maybe it can make players have a slightly better situational awarness and maybe to ask themselves in order to improve their gear/skills/rotation/cp and attributes allocation.

    Sometimes you have to ask yourself.... To PUG or not to PUG, that is the question.

    I ran normal BC2 the other day for the first time in ages and was not expecting the knock backs or the deadroth to be stuck on the platform. The tank and I (healer) stuck to attacking the boss while the DD's seemed to spend most of their time attacking the Deadroth. I just kept getting 'bubbled' over and over and over again.

    Were we doing it wrong? Were the DD's wasting their time attacking the Deadroth? Who knows?

    For whatever reason the mechanics have changed and suddenly it is not the same fight any more.

    From my memory the bubbles should appear every 10-15 sec, if they now apply after cleansing then this a change and ZOS should say if this is a) a bug or b) a planned change to the dungeon.

    @Insandros, that's with an experienced, well coordinated group that plays off each others' strengths ~ clearly not what the OP is describing.

    Once you have that real vet status under your belt (not to be mistaken for "I've reached cp level"), of course you can autopilot most content. OP, or at least OP's group, has a way to go first.

    If you're still relatively new, and your group is having trouble, voice comms can probably make the single biggest difference in a random, less experienced group, especially if they are fairly new to the dungeon.

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    It's funny that you keep bringing up vMA. If you've ran it 86 times, you know as well as I do that the only hard part is accepting the powered dagger or decisive bow you get at the end.

Not dealing with 3 other people, in vMA i control where stuff goess, i control where aoe poping under mean drops.. do i control otehr people going? do i control someone coming in front of me while having bosses flame going underhim passing me as i have 15% life left and knocked down in is flame trail? I presume sicne you're a smart guy i can't? and learning of l2p? Why don't you L2WAESIOBLWLAN? (Learn to write an entire sentence instead of being laysy with letters and numbers? I can do my job as a DPS, hegaler and tank, i cannot do them all in a 4 men... but, you know that don't you? If i clared vMA 86 times since my first success 3 weeks ago, is mainly because i do know what to do, not having to deal with some Forest Gumps runing all over the place.

    It's always easier to blame other players than yourself. Still a L2P issue.

    Facerolling for any class/role does nothing to improve player skill.

    They want you to mind your feet, be situationally aware, understand that you have to multitask to an extent (orbs/adds/curses)

    I tanked this yesterday. At one point (because a different method was bring tried), I had 8 daedroth on me and was still managing, so it's not as if it's not doable.

    OP, your healer should HoT you while you're running to uncurse. You should be calling out in voice comms (you did have voice comms, right?) that you had been cursed ("Blue/Red," "I'm in the air...")

    Beyond that, your group is doing it the hard way...
    1. Nuke everything, Daedroths included, until boss is around 20% (this will vary based on DPS)
    2. Let 3 Daedroths spawn. Kill orbs, mind fire, cure curses. Do not damage adds.
    3. When add #3 spawns, boss is already in execute range...burn.
    4. Retrieve 2 keys from what is arguably one of the easiest "Hard Mode" dungeons in the game...

    PUGged it, so forget voice comm.... with my friends, we don'T even need voice com since we know the drills and do what each of us needs to do, move, position ourselves... i never though that dungoen could be frustrating with a pug. As i said, with friends this is a piece of cake, we don'T even kill any daedroth, by the time there is 4-5 daedroths on the tank, the boss is dead and no one died... in PUG world, it always turns in a nightmare :)
    @Insandros, that's with an experienced, well coordinated group that plays off each others' strengths ~ clearly not what the OP is describing.

    Once you have that real vet status under your belt (not to be mistaken for "I've reached cp level"), of course you can autopilot most content. OP, or at least OP's group, has a way to go first.

    If you're still relatively new, and your group is having trouble, voice comms can probably make the single biggest difference in a random, less experienced group, especially if they are fairly new to the dungeon.

    PC doesn't have voice comms. You need third party software, meaning you can't use it with randoms.

    I miss the days when voice chat was standard in every game. Then people got sensitive. "Toxic" became the new buzzword of the internet and devs stopped including the feature with their games.

    If you as a damage dealer are having problems in that dungeon, you are the problem. These mechanics you're bitching about? Ignorable bubbles a single HoT or shield takes care of, or avoided by you doing your job killing daedroth.

    The boss hits for very little damage, knock backs can be blocked. Nothing else poses a significant threat. L2P

    I think the OP didn't run this dungeon prior to the Daedroth bug. I left ESO for a while then came back dreading the thought of Banished Cells 2 and COA2. Welp...BC2 was a cake walk to how it was before with the Daedroth and I haven't tried COA2.

    I, for one, am glad they fixed the Daedroth bug - it will be challenging again. :)

    I'm loving the new challenge since they've fixed the final encounter in BC2! Some of the most fun I've had was the first run reaching that last boss in Vet after the fix, read scroll shortly followed by everyone in group WTFing in Discord. Ahh, happy times!

    It's very challenging for a group unable to work well together, even more so for someone without patience. I truly hope they don't nerf it but I'm fairly positive they will.

    U telling me vaa can be done without voice yet u need voice for a non dlc 4 man dungeon?
    And It make perfect sense a 4 man daily pledge dungeon deal more damage than the adds on vdsa last boss?

    I came to see if there was a thread about the Daedroth. I hadn't run vBC2 in months, but went last night with 3 people who are fairly new to veteran dungeons and had previously tried to beat Rilis but failed. I was very shocked to see the Daedroth had some new skills!

    The ranged fireball with the knockback and pool seems to only cast when no player is near the Daedroth. It would cast when he spawned and then not again if the tank was on him. If watching the Daedroth (I was watching him so I could go kill the healing balls), the stunning fireball is dodgeable:)

    The ground tremor cone was not a very welcome surprise when I first got hit by it, and slowed, when cursed and trying to go cleanse!

    We did wipe a couple times, but after adjusting our strategy to account for these Daedroth abilities I wasn't even aware of, we did manage to kill Rilis. I felt the Daedroth were much more threatening to our group than the boss was.

    These new abilities definitely will make this boss more challenging in PUGs and thinking about HM gives me a headache:P

    Honestly, I've been there before with newer players and the Daedroth with just Fire Breath cone were problematic. I encounter a lot of players that are afraid of vet dungeons and don't even want to try them because they are afraid to get yelled at for not being experienced, for not being OP, for not having the cookie-cutter build/gear setups. That sort of negative vibe makes me so sad:(

    I checked youtube tutorial for 3rd attempting. And finally success.

    1, After daedroth show up, tank must separate them from boss enemy.
    Then, other three member can concentrate to smash the boss.

    2, However, daedroth are increasing through the time spending. So DPS must
    take out boss character until tank role exhausted. If team lose tank role,
    it'll be end !!

    But it only work with nice DPS acting.

    Sometime DPS role become panic because of blue fire damage, and keep running
    around the field, and forget attack the boss. When I saw team mate keep running
    from boss character, and go up the stairs to escape from combat zone. I felt huge
    sadness. (/._.\) Oh my god, my hand made potion will also exhaust in vain.

    Forget dungeon, and let's go to beautiful flower field to pick up herb again (~_~); .
