Ground-cast AoE CCs are also really helpful, the kind you cast prior to being attacked, like mines, volcanic rune, manifestation of terror, beast trap, turn undead, or the warden's teleport. Locking/fearing the bomber prevents them from tracking and helps the group get away long enough to live.

I've also heard that Meridia's will cause them to miss the rest of the bomb if it procs, but I haven't verified that.

@geonsocal It is another bomber. I think it's a flame-staff wielding magNB. Not sure what the exact rotation and sets are, but it includes proxy and Vicious Death. Ugly hits, but squishier than the templar was.

i thought gooch was a mag blade on AD, thought I had seen sap essence on a death recap...

I forgot who wrote it - but, someone had mentioned earlier putting on gear sets to minimize the damage from the eye of whatever just so they could kill him afterward...

and you should live.

Yeah they're just gonna have to let that go. Coke isn't going to leave on the basis of what they say, and complaining about him--or anyone else--doesn't accomplish anything.

I miss Bob. When he was always in the lead, no one on AD ever cared about pushing for Emp because it would just be Bob. We held so many keeps because of that.

AD has always needed a leader it can get behind. Too-too often we see chumps being crowned that aren't necessarily the crowns the alliance needs. I am however glad, Scarface-Myworld got emp.

I'm just sick of it. So, solo city it is.

I saw Gooch on EP chat. Good to see there were EP that were defending him from the old EP haters. Gooch and his crew were trying to rally so I didn't understand the haters. I haven't seen him as much as EP, than when he was DC or AD. He did say he works full time and is a full time college student on DC chat when he announced he was leaving.

Good to hear the insights of AD. Logged in as AD last night for a little bit and didn't see any toxic chat, and AD was pushing north on both sides of the map. Logged in as EP to see what's up and the first thing that pops up is STFU in chat. LOL, explains why Arrius was still AD controlled.

Almost done with Fallout 4 so I should be playing more, but Destiny 2 is coming out in a couple of weeks...my coworkers are ready for a raid.

We need @FatKidHatchets and @Paraflex back in the game. FatKid was great a barking out orders and the greens just listened to him. Paraflex was my GM for Red Wings (wedding dresses) and the guild sadly went inactive. Paraflex was and probably will forever be the best crown I've had the pleasure of being in a group with and learning how to pvp.

I play on EP but my main is AD. My one EP just stays in Shor. It's really interesting to see how each alliance delegates who's "leading" the alliance. Some people I've seen aren't even on the leaderboards but people listen to them because they make smart call outs and don't screw around.

AD is really lacking leadership. I've had zero issues with Coke but I know a great deal of AD don't like him for his behaviour in zone chat and when he was on DC prior to him being banned on CokeSurfer.

EP put in some nice work this weekend, with one week to go they're up about 300 on AD with DC trailing behind 1st by about 450 points...

some really nice points battles going on amongst the top two players in each faction...

i don't think we've had an emp in a couple of days...

starting to think EP may actually have a shot at this...been fooled before though...

I've been using gold weapons and purple armor since I can remember and could never take a resource by myself without dying at least 3 times.

Finally decided to buy Tempering Alloy for all 9 heavy pieces. Each required 8 TA with max temper crafting. That was a lot of gold. I shopped everywhere to make sure I found the cheapest.

Went to Cyrodiil and low and behold I took a resource by myself without dying. I actually jumped off the wall to get in the fray of close combat. You know...my signature may be changing to not say that's me dead in Cyrodiil. Nah...I still button panic.

In an effort to reduce the visual effect noise in group combat situations, we’ve hidden most visual effects from persistent damaging area of effect abilities cast by your allies. Area of effect abilities that have a synergy, healing, or defensive component that can benefit you will still be visible, and area of effect abilities cast by enemies will also still be visible.

i must have missed that the first time i went through the notes...i'm glad for this change...

i want to take advantage of the color coding - it can get seriously confusing with all the fireworks going off during a battle...

We’ve added a setting - Combat Cues - in the Gameplay menu that will allow you to control the color and brightness of Friendly and Hostile combat cues.

this should prove interesting:

Damage over time abilities will now display the number of hits you received from that ability next to the ability icon in the Death Recap UI.

very cool senor...i definitely like getting away from the main battles every once in a while to go flip resources...depending on the type of character i'm using the difficulty can be very different...

glad to hear you've been able to fine tune your gear to gold...

i'm a bit too fickle on my gear choices, got a bunch of gold items sitting in the bank gathering dust...one of these day though

i love guild store shopping - found 20 epic tempers for 12k yesterday and had to do a happy dance

@geonsocal That epic temper price deserves that dance.

8000 is the most common. The best deals are 5500, but rare. Next is 6000 and then 7500. I just laugh when I see 8000, and then 8 for 64000 at the same trader. Some just don't understand price marketing. I usually found 2 for 15K. I went to every territory and even to those lonely traders in the middle of nowhere.

I'm liking my Worm-Poet/Twic-Born Star gear with the W-P jewelry replaced with enchanted gold stamina recovery. Sustain with some damage to support in fights...from afar hehehe. Carpal tunnel not hurting as much.

So today I went into PvP in my PvE gear just to see what it was like. I like to switch my gear around quite a bit and I recently acquired a set of War Maiden jewelry, shoulders, and hat. The purple jewelry I found at some out of the way guild trader and when I saw the purple necklace and purple ring listed for 1,000 gold I jumped on that. Well, first I check to make sure I was reading it right, it was 160 gear yes? Looked again carefully and yep, it was the real deal. So I bought those two and picked up another purple Maiden ring for 10,000 in Rawl'Kha. The hat and the shoulders I already had in divines and infused respectively. So I paired that up with my Julianos and boom! Damage for days. Most of my skills are magic damage anyway and I was curious about the War Maiden and Julianos double damage dip.

Also let me just say my guys looks so awesome - Heavy Julianos chest in Imperial style, medium Imperial Julianos boots, hat and shoulders in War Maiden style, and the rest light Imperial. With the dual wield Katana style soul-shriven swords - Torug's Pact - and the Maiden Shoulders and Hat, I look like an Asian-style warrior. I'm stylin'. As they used to say on the old GI Joe cartoon, looking good is half battle, or something like that... it's been a while.

Anyway this gear is 1 heavy, 1 medium, and 5 light (undaunted passive), all divines with a couple infused mixed in. So I thought, yeah let's jump into some PvP as a glass cannon. Wow. I mean sure, I die when the wind changes direction too quickly but if I hit you first, it's face melting time. I didn't get too much action on other players but when it came to capping resources, I was blowing right through the NPC's. The few players I did see, I had a total of five kills and two deaths. The second guy who killed me took my full burst and I knew right then I was toast. I killed one of his friends but he and another guy took me out pretty quickly after that. Then I had to go, but I'm going to try again later. So any EP or DC on later tonight, look for me - should be an easy kill. I'll be wearing PvE gear and glass cannoning it up. I gotta be honest, with the eye of flame up, grothdar proccing on the flames of oblivion - it all looks pretty freaking cool...

there were so many people on top of the bridge towers at times - I had no idea if my shot sent someone over the edge or not - plus, i didn't see them hit the water...i need to see them go in...try, try again...

I hope all is well in tamriel and the much more mundane real world...

well, it appears oblivion has frozen over and EP has won a campaign...

the last campaign stayed very competitive throughout the month...

haven't seen a queue in a while entering cyrodiil...usually when I jump on late west coast time there is normally around 2 bars for each alliance...

I've heard there is a bit if dissension amongst AD folks, perhaps due in part to some player(s) at the top of the leaderboards...

gooch must be some kind of crazy good luck charm - sure enough as soon as he switched to EP they were able to win...

did run in to some interesting fights at the end of the last campaign wherein a large group (at least a dozen or so) of EP players were camping on the top floor of warden (and later glademist)...

they kept coming in to the keep, going upstairs setting up a good bit of siege and knocking all the outer walls down...

it looked crazy riding up to a flagged blue keep with holes all over the outer walls...and, also with some of the structure inside the keep (stairs) also falling apart...

nothing like getting farmed inside your own keep

it's interesting to play after about 11pm p.s.t. - the zergs normally start thinning out and the fighting starts to become a lot more personal...

I need to update some of my character builds to become more relevant in 1v1 and small scale...

gonna try a fasalla guile, crest of cyrodiil (with velidreth helm & shoulders) build on my stam dk...i don't normally equip resource poisons - but, for some reason I like to try different cheese builds on that particular character...

Played DC last night and was riding to Glade to help take the keep back. The mine was blue so went there as usual to scope the scene. Was riding in turbo mode and before I could stop, I ran into AD standing at the flag just as it flipped. Button panicked everything. Got knocked down and swarmed by the rest of the AD group. 1v20

And then I was T-bagged... I was honored since I've never been T-bagged. I must've gotten someone pretty annoyed with my endless Javelins and Destructive Clenches.

Destiny 2 out tonight so let's see if the grind gets me bored after 3 months. Good luck in the new campaign.

I have been having good fun on an argonian magblade......running 5 Baharas, 3 willpower, 2 Skoria Masters Ice Staff and VMA resto....its insane fun.....

Made my Khajiit a stam blade again (kitty kat magblade was fun, just needed something new) been running a bow free NB build....5 hundings 3 agility, 1 kena,1 veli, 2 lekis swords, Sharp random 2h....warrior mundus.....sustain is interesting, but the 5k weapon damage and 75% crit while buffed is nice....have crit surprise attacks for as high as 11k in cyro

Lets see what else...oh I made an EP toon...almost puked, but I did it.....its a bomber....

I have a few of the Morrowind side stories left, I do not think I have Molag Bols head, what item are you asking about?
The guy in the water is my Soul Shriven, I had him on the edge of the high dive for a bit, pondering if he should try the jump.....he did, and did not make it....

And as far as Argonians, they are the master race.....Lore wise and in game.....they actually have some bad ass lore behind them...and their passives are sweet (swim speed op) health, some mag, healing and the potion passive (not to mention resistance passives) all add up to a race you can really use for any class any style. If you have not played one, make one.. YOU too will soon be a lizard lover lol

I switched my bosmer NB to Argonian to try magblade because I wanted more cloaks, shadow images, fears, a burst heal in healing ward, etc but found I didn't like it as much as I thought I would but then rather than change race, I just took my Argonian back to stamblade. Have to say, I love the potion use as combined with restore health and the passive, it really gives a burst heal. Slap him in heavy armor and the rally and vigor tics are real!
