I'm gonna wait until the end of the campaign before I stop believing AD won't make a huge push before then...

it's been a long time since a campaign has been this close over a week or so in to it...

i've had a ton of fun on each alliance so far...i don't remember being gated hardly at all this campaign...

except for maybe one or two nights, I've felt an opportunity within each faction to find small scale or zerg (my weakness) action including earning good AP capturing stuff all over the map...

i even took time to get off the beaten path a few times (and @davey1107 killed me for it )...

i want to continue doing more deep traveling in enemy faction space...been a while since I've taken time to spread out in cyrodiil and explore a bit...

favorite place in all of tamriel is the lunar fang docks...

speaking of places in tamriel - does anyone have any idea how the heck to get in the cloud ruler temple floating dolmen?

I keep forgetting to look it up...

probably should check a cyro skyshard map and start collecting them all...

also hanging out in IC these days - just finished that sublime brazier quest on another character...

for whatever crazy reason - my favorite dailies in the game are the ones from IC...

I kind of miss gooch - that dude killed me all the time - it was like having a roaming monster in the game

had a few minutes to get on after work yesterday and saw AD making a push...i'm hoping during the last couple of weeks the score stays close amongst the three factions...

having emp and an extra 1,500 health or so ain't a bad thing...

it does kind of fascinate me a little how some folks personalities are so toxic they can easily alienate so many relative strangers...

although in all fairness putting a bunch of competitive geeks together with the ability to communicate does seem like a recipe for friction...

kind of makes you wonder though about any relationships they might have outside of the game...

seems when some folks feel ostracized it makes them push the envelope of obnoxiousness even harder...

well, i'm gonna take the 5th or so kick in the last 15 minutes as a sign it's time to get off my lazy butt and take a break from video games and go do something semi-productive with my life...

Although I don't play much nowadays, has anyone else noticed that EP can take the lead in Vivec and then after the 15th day, AD makes a comeback. My theory is that there's a large AD guild that plays EP for the first 15 days, and then switches to AD the last 15 days. Seems like the pattern for the past 3 months. Last night AD was now in first place and EP has been 2 bars the last couple of days. Hmmm....

This is a close campaign! I happened to be on AD when the blue Emp showed up in our chat and asked us to dethrone him. He wanted to give the people behind him a chance to get Emp. I thought it was a strange request but hey, free dethrone! That's also cool of him to help his fellow DC players by giving them a chance. Too bad I wasn't able to stay online and take part.

I think that was part of the problem with Coke on AD. He's had his emp and people wanted him to step aside and let the next guy get a chance. While I generally believe in letting other people have a chance to get emp, it's easy for me to say because I've never been in that position. Also, I wouldn't want to lose out on top tier rewards if I were in a position to get them. So I can see both sides. While he seems to have a vendetta against DC, he does a good job leading groups overall. So I don't get the hate. I don't care what faction a player is "from", if you are on my team and fighting for my faction then I'm glad to have you.

Also to all my fellow AD who have invited me to groups where I've declined, my play time is so up and down right now that I don't want to join your group and go AFK over and over again. I do appreciate the invites though.

@geonsocal You're right. I played last night and saw the change in lead. Good to see less toxic chat on EP now.

It's good competition now. I'll have to play my AD or DC toon next campaign.

not normally a conspiracy theorist - however - I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps there is this secret cross factional guild which keeps switching from faction to faction to faction...

if so, I want to join it...

Lately I've been on a crafting binge and trying out different sets and combos. So far I've used Rattlecage, Kagrenac's, Torug's Pact, Vicious Death, Desert Rose, Worm Cult, Cyrodiil's Light, and Soulshine. Plus mixing and matching various monster sets to mix it up. My current setup is 2xSkoria, 5xRattlecage, 3xKagrenac's (max magic plus magic recovery at 3), and dual wield Torug's Pact swords. It's pretty fun. Last night I was battling DC near Ash and 1vXing poorly against three DC. I almost got one down, we're talking a sliver of health, before I died. (I told you I was doing it poorly) Anyway, I'm watching the world through the pale blue filter of the dead when Skoria falls out of the sky and kills the sliver of health guy after I'm dead. Sure, he gets rezzed right away but that was awesome. From hell's heart, I stab at thee!

I ran into an unkillable death dealing machine on red last night. I don't know how these guys do it. I was running with one other person, we're at Chalman lumber mill and flipped it when he comes riding up. The NPC's unload, I drop a meteor, my buddy locks him with talons so he's standing on the meteor DOT, buddy hits him with soul assault, I'm blasting away with reflective light and puncturing sweeps and his health doesn't move. The NPC's are shooting him, my friend is hitting him with the sword and board skill that lowers resistance, I'm trying heavy attacks, stunning with destructive reach, and then my own soul assault and still, his health never waivers. He's not just an unkillable tank though, he was dishing out major damage. I was running with 31k health and my friend had 35k. He was able to drop us both plus shrug off the NPC's. I don't know how to do that. On my dual wield bar I had over 3000 spell damage, both swords were sharpened, his resistance was lowered and he took three ultimates without losing a sliver of health. Kudos to that guy because he clearly knows something I don't.

There has to be a cross faction guild, which is GREAT. Last night I started as EP with 2 bars and DC had 1 bar. We couldn't get BRK and AD had a grip on the map. I log out and come back after dinner on my DC toon. All factions 3 bars. EP took back BRK, Sejanus and Dlowe and DC took back Ash, Brindle and Roe. AD only had Alessia for emp and gate keeps. DC takes Faregyl, and EP takes BB and BM and tries to take AD scrolls. DC then dethrone's AD.

So did AD just let the map flip to keep competition good? Did AD go into the sewers? Don't know, but it was interesting and fun.

Ad went to do nAA and nSO runs for a few hours, and a guildmaster had life plans so he logged on late. Lower numbers of experienced, charismatic crowns means it's harder to hold it together.

I know though that they can have a huge impact on the map...

@geonsocal It is another bomber. I think it's a flame-staff wielding magNB. Not sure what the exact rotation and sets are, but it includes proxy and Vicious Death. Ugly hits, but squishier than the templar was.

i thought gooch was a mag blade on AD, thought I had seen sap essence on a death recap...

I forgot who wrote it - but, someone had mentioned earlier putting on gear sets to minimize the damage from the eye of whatever just so they could kill him afterward...

Heartland mitigates 5% from players and 20% from AoEs and Siege. If you're wearing reactive, you'll get another 35% mitigation (though not the full amount), if another magNb pops Soul Tether right before the bomb, or if there's talons. Add pirate skeleton, vamp passives, and Bolstering Darkness + block and you should live.
