✭I don't mind long maintenance and long patch times as long as they do the following:
- Compensate subscribers for unscheduled maintenance
- Fix more stuff than create more bugs.
- Tell us what they fixed. I was on a super slow laptop while I was on vacation, wanted to just feed my mounts, had the same issue, if your loading screens are THAT long what you need to do is be tabbed into the game and just press buttons on your keyboard. It will keep you from getting kicked for inactivity. However, it is really really really stupid that we can get kicked for inactivity in a loading screen for character select screen, or while being in character select. This did not used to be a thing, then sometime a year plus ago they added it in. WHY?! Really not needed.0 -

There comes a point in time when they're not bugs any more.
They become recognized as officially programmed in to the code, just like every thing else that was put there.
If they were truly 'bug's, Zani/ZOS would in all good conscience have done something to fix them.

Acceptable defects. It is easier to "fix" them by saying they are now intended, than it is to actually make the change. I think that is why Animation Canceling is still around, although the effort they have put into getting that to work has probably cost more than the fix to remove it.
