    I don't know what all the fuss is about.

    I'm just an average pvp player yet I can take resources very easily on my own with my stamina nightblade - takes about 20 seconds max. It's also no problem for any of my magicka builds using the destro ulti altho this takes a little longer, so if I can do it anyone can!

    Only class that I struggle to solo a resource with is a Stam DK. And I haven't tried Warden, Stam Sorc and Stam Templar.

    Guards are okay. Always use deep breath to mass interrupt. You people complaining that should roll a dragonknight instead of hugging those noob friendly class hahahah

    EDIT: clear the one on the tower. then deep breath, talons, whip to clear the rest. Inhale and exhale processed in deep breath won't hurt yourself even in eclipse, same goes talons.

    Change to 1v1 combat skills once cleared to get ready for alerted enemies inc.

    Nothing rocket science here. DKs are not just neglectable meatbag midfight, some even can't accept the fact that a sword and board dk can do 9-12k non crit leap.

    Each NPC is using the appropriate abilities as earned via the upgrade system and are not cross wired as they were during the initial launch of Morrowind several months ago. This was fixed on PC and Console platforms, and remains intact from that initial fix. This has been verified in code and in game by our QA department as well as Devs hopping online to verify.

    That being said, with recent balance changes and adjustments to item sets, the guards may put forth more of a challenge. As a reminder, Resources are intended to be captured by a group of 2-4 players and while some players can take them solo, that is not the norm, nor what we balance guard abilities and difficulty around.

    I don't have trouble taking resources solo no matter what build/class I play but I am concerned with this devs comment/attitude towards solo players!

    If your solo taking resources, it's really not that bad. It is a bit more challenging now for say a lvl 5 resource but other than that its still pretty easy. And as far not being able to take a resource with 2-4 players, I can't understand that. Keeps can be taken with 2-3 players or less if done right with no enemy players present.

Also some guards going from 5%health to full when there are no guard healers around. PC NA Sotha sil approximate location, as far as i could tell main keeps in the ring.

    Gina, this is not a campaign issue. This happens on all campaigns and on all servers.

    Apparently they see nothing wrong with an infinite train of eclipse/negate.
    I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.

    You're suggesting he interrupts multiple NPCs casting negates/eclipse/100% burst heals?

    Okay? I was just wondering why you'd suggest that when it's clearly impossible. Magic players don't have enough stamina to break free while running around bashing all the NPCs before the cast their instant negate/eclipse/blood.

    Maybe you're suggesting everyone solo plays stam class if they're soloing a resource?

    If you die to guards soloing an undefended resource with cp you are simply a bad player, in non-cp it can be a challenge but its do-able on any class type.

    Eclipse getting buffed is a good thing coz it was useless before. The real problem is that we need our cc immunity back. players and guards constantly rooting with 'soft' cc is very annoying and resource draining.

    I been begging for guards to be buffed back to their pre IC former glory when it was possible to solo defend vs 15 players and duo defend vs 30 because siege also got a buff. Now that fire balistas and guards just tickle (in CP) maybe guards need to be a bit stronger. Not enough use of meatbags though, they make all the difference. Cold fires should only be allowed in above lv50 campaigns tho, they too op in kyne and kinda unfair on new players.

    Saying this it is possible to solo defend vs 12 bad players in kyne but in CP campaigns you just get mowed down, i would like to see a CP tree that buffs siege damage to compensate the negation of elemental damage, fire balistas critting again could be nice too.

    I mean I want to agree, but it's a little much calling them bad players if they die to guards.

    I've seen 2 level 630s die to level 5 resources because they're CCd infinitely.

    You can be CCd, roll and be CCd halfway through roll while being pelted with vampires bane only to be CCd right away after.

    Taking out CC immunity against NPCs(whether intended or not) was just another classic ignorant choice from ZoS.

    It is not a problem that they are "hard" it is that their abilities are broken and don't give cc immunity. Eclipse for example still reflects, in contrast to the player skill, randomly almost all skills(weapon enchants, whip, entropy, siege weapon dots.....) and with the great idea to make it not breakable it is just idiotic..
    Who the hell thinks a unbreakable cc is a good idea?

    Anyways you can still very easy take resources solo which has a lot to do with the limited AI of the npcs and taking resources in a group is just a joke and no challenge at all. Buff the guards: give them a better AI and skills (proxi det, meteor, roots, destro ulti ....)


    But don't say broken/bugged skills are there to make it harder to take resources

    I know right, ZOS_BrianWheeler literally said it's to make them more challenging.

    How about focusing on fixing your servers before trying to make the game harder. Or fixing streak, why is dawnbreaker reflectable?

    At this point I'm starting to believe that this "intended' buff to Cyrodiil NPC guards was completely unintentional and are now saying it's meant to be like this because they have no idea what they're doing.

    As insane as that sounds.

    That was kind of a jerk answer. I'm not having problems taking resources myself in Vivec on NA. Maybe this is just a non CP campaign issue. Yeah, the guards are beefier, but I can break free from the attacks. So, some of this was fixed at least in the CP campaigns.

    This has been my experience @GinaBruno, things are a bit more challenging, but my system of taking resources is based on kiting and line of site to make the fights manageable, so I can still take the resources myself. It is definitely easier with two, however. Vivec NA

    My only complaint about resource taking is the eclipse spamming. I am often unable to cast any offensive abilities for minutes at a time, which is just silly.

    NPC guards are easy. Taking a ressource solo isn't hard. Some classes can't rush in and take on all the npc at the same time, but all classes can solo it in their own way (havn't played warden much, but i guess it shouldn't be any problems there either).
    If you have problems, then your skill, gear or the tactic used -needs to improve..dont blame these brainless npc please -.-
