    Knock yourselves out.

Although I think you should try running vet hardmodes naked. Why not? Or without barswap. It might be an artificial constraint, but at least you'll be challenged.
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

Yes, there are ways to make things feel harder - no gear, no CP, different weapons/skills, non optimum groups, 2 or 3 man Vet dungeons, not use a tank or healer in a dungeon where you usually need one, etc. Lose your rotations, don't use food, potions, poisons or summoned pets, etc.

While the mechanics are the same, making it so you must avoid damage to stay alive or making management of stamina or magicka a real issue instead of simply being able burn enemies down fast, are easy ways to make the fight more challenging.

There are various types of content in the game. Dungeons, arenas and trials. Each with 3 difficulty levels except the arenas only have 2.

Hardmode isn't a third difficulty setting as it only affects the final boss. And there are:

    30 dungeons
    5 trials
    2 arenas

Dungeons comprise the bulk of endgame content in this game. Endgame players constantly complain that there isn't enough content in this game. Challenging dungeons can fill that void (give them a leader board as well).

HM is a difficulty level, though it only affects one fight.

Further, trials are the next step up from 4 man dungeons. Dungeons are merely a stepping point to trials.

Lastly, no reason to have leaderboards for dungeon. The dungeon would have to be on par with vMoL and vHoF to be even worthy to be considered for leaderboard material and then we would be calling it an arena or trial so, yea, no dungeons on leaderboards. Plus, if they had a leaderboard it would be same people on the trial leaderboard filling the dungeon leaderboard.

Currently the HM is a joke. this don't deserve to be call " third difficulty " take the last boss of falkreath hold for exemple ... the HM only destroy 2 pillar " lel " and it's all.
in other dungeon this just increase the health/ damage of the boss ,but it's not enough for call it a " challenge". ONLY the last boss of bloodroot forge have a interesting HM.
Sometimes i wonder if you read what i write ;) ( about put off my gear ect .... for challenge ) so i will quote my self.

    Q & A:

Q: Why don't you just put off your cps and gear ?
A: Simply because doing this increase "artificially "the difficulty of the dungeons ... and it's not fun when there still a part of your mind who know that in reality the dungeon is easy... And also because complete a dungeon should give the impression of a push through the limit ( limit = difficulty of the dungeon ) and not the reverse.

Q: Why don't you run with pugs ?
A: I would love ... but everyone don't speak english, sometimes you fall with a " non-english group " who simply can't complete the dungeons cause they don't read the mechanics that you try to explain them , sometimes IT'S an english group ... but they also dont read what you write cause they think they are OP and can nuke the dungeon simply because they play a sorcerer ... lel . Of course this make the dungeon harder ... but instead of yell " YEAHHHHH " in group once the dungeon is complete ... you will just get a headache while they are leaving the dungeon 1 by 1 without say thank ... 80% of the time.

If you're finding vet dungeons too easy, the trial community is thirsty for new solid players.

There's already 3 dungeon difficulty levels.

    Vereran - Hard mode.

Go play vMA if the game's not "hard" enough.

difficulty ... veteran- hard mode ? Nop, Open your group tab and you will see something call " group mode " say me if you see "Veteran hard mode " in this tab .

    i'm flawless conqueror.

I really don't understand why you don't want everyone to get fun in this game, just want a third difficulty with " see above in the main post " and no more rewards.

LOL. Flawless conquerer and I am sure cleared MoL and HoF in HM already. Great for you and gratz. But increasing difficulty on 4 man dungeons is just lolz. It is trials that should have a higher difficulty if you are really looking for a challenge.

Certainly not mocking a flawless clear. But stating that 4 man dungeons is not the next step and that Zos is not going to cater to the 1% like that and rescale all dungeons to a new difficulty level. It is really common sense.

I always thought they should have a small, medium , large approach.

Normal - keep it the way it is now
Hard- this would be the new one they need to add
Elite- Keep it the way it is now. The new dungeon content since IC/hist has been pretty good in the difficulty rating IMO.

You could obviously make the tier 2 and 3 harder, but having a step in-between would be good for most players out there as they struggle to get through the hard content. Another thing about this approach is ZOS would not have to go back and nerf the elite rated dungeons. Simple give out green/blue/purple jewelry for loot.

Yes, though personally, I believe there should be something between normal and veteran mode. There are many standards of players' abilities - there is such a yawning gap between normal (which for example, I find a face-roll) and vet (which is way higher standard, that sometimes I feel an in-between mode is missing.

A case in point: With a group of guildies, I face-rolled the new dungeons on normal - so much so we were quickly done and without suffering deaths - even though it was our first run through them. On vet, they were so vastly harder that we had our arses handed to us!

We're not all 'Hodor-esque' powerhouses, some find some vet content beyond hard. Maybe an intermediate mode would suit?
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.
