You do realize that every time one of you guys says something is the meta they nerf it as soon as possible, right?
Burning Spellweave had quite a good run considering everybody and their grandmother was running it and we for sure don't want another situation like that again where magicka classes get pigeon holed into a one set for all scenario.
BSW had a great run, but then we entered the Glorious Era of Play How You Want which hath smote the meta and any new ones that attempt to emerge from the ashes and stuff.
Is Mothers Sorrow on live today better than yesterday? Yes.
Is the one stop shop for ultimate DPS? No
That is how it should be and it's a good thing. No one set should be the best because that what everyone will wear and there is no build diversity. Now we have to think about what we are doing rather than follow the streamer pipers. This is better as people may realize there are different paths to the same goal. Or at least some of us will.

Would much rather have strong sets than build diversity. Not to mention I've seen others trying to do such things, and end up with terrible results.

That said, reverting the precise change and nerfing shadow, nerfing thief even further, that's pretty dumb. I understand not wanting a boe set and a crafted set to be BIS, but traits and munduses were at a great balance point on pts.
THANK YOU

Always keep track of new patch notes on PTS server forum.
I only see 3.1.4

Looking at "Mother Sorrow Rush" during past few days; i saw nothing but bunch of dudes eager to become OP just by copying Alcast build.
Apparently, ZOS played a joke because the intent was so obvious...

It's not standard practice for companies to make changes from PTS on the day the patch goes live.
ZOS is the outlier here, and this is very, very poor implementation on their part. Players invested into a set expecting a certain outcome, but that outcome was changed at the last moment. This information should have been provided by ZOS to the players, but it was not. This is generally a pretty *** way to run things IMO and doesn't bode well for future communication on anything, since while it was obvious they knew the hype generated about this specific set, they did not care to communicate the changes to players in advance.
Really, really unprofessional IMO.
Ill still give it a crack. But which mundus stone now. Shadow, Mage, Apprentice...?
