I'm thinking the change to Thief might make Shadow more powerful. they were always very close anyway. With the huge buff to crit rating pieces and 2% to precise you might be able to closely recreate thief with gear and then go shadow with CP focus on crit damage and penetration to round it out. I'm going to give TBS a go too with Apprentice+Shadow I think

I think these changes will make TBS VERY popular. I'm so close to being able to craft it yet so far. 1~2 traits away on each, and you know how "fast" the last ones go.

Yes...This. My DPS warden is running a Crit build. I run 5pc Red Mountain, 4pc Hundings, and 3pc Defiler on my (currently lvl 41) Warden. On PTS, my crit% went from 45.9% on live to 50.1%. I use precise weapons and Thief Mundus. I even got a damage increase on the Red mountain proc. I went from 7984 damage to 8341 on PTS (8888 with Bird of Prey buff). Oh, and I LOVE the new Red Mountain proc graphic.

Yep, I'm looking forward to TBS as well but want to wait until I'm able to craft it myself. I probably won't be there until a month or two into Horns, but I can wait. Until then, I've got a few sets in mind to farm in preparation for these changes

You want to tank while leveling? Wouldn't you want to be full DPS instead, then switch to a tank after you hit 50? But if you want to level as a tank I imagine Lady + Atronach would be good yes.

Physical/Spell resistances are useful while leveling/exploring if you plan on killing world bosses. Some are very difficult to live against when playing as a glass cannon.

That's the whole point of changes. Everyone was running Thief mundus. This is actually a great change as now mundus stones have a meaningful effect.

I started using TBS on my magicka Wardens a little over a month ago so for once I'm ahead of what's in instead of behind

I'm using the Thief and Apprentice for my Mundus stones and am wondering if I should change Thief to Shadow or just leave it as Thief?

Not even close. There are better sets, take a look over in the pts sectionto see.

Not even, look at Gilliams testing, TBS is still behind. Magicka meta is mostly mothers sorrow and julianos while stamina mostly remained unchanged with 2 fanged snake, vicious ophidian, war machine, hundings, nightmothers, sunderflame

it might be possible to wear TBS + another 5-piece-set while dumping the undaunted sets. Issue might still be that one of the 5-piece-sets should be a set which gives the 5% minor slayer bonus.

10 percent nerf is not as much as you think. Its only a couple hundred maybe a fee hundred damage total lost after proc is complete.

Unless my esimated math is wront 10% of 2400 =
240 dmg lost for grothdar.

Llambris does I believe 2.2k -10% = 220 dmg lost.

I'm already running with tbs...if you need any help crafting the swords, helm, cuirass, or girdle, let me know...I'll be done researching greaves in like 9 or 10 days too
