Mundus Stone changes

The Lover looks interesting with the change. Also I wonder how Thief now compares vs Lover, Apprentice and Warrior.

"Developer Comments:
Mundus Stone values and bonuses have been re-tuned with a focus on improving overall diversity. Almost all Mundus Stones were buffed, with the exception of The Thief which was slightly nerfed due to it overshadowing all other choices. The Lady was upgraded to grant both Spell and Physical Resistance, and The Lover was completely redesigned to grant Spell and Physical Penetration to counteract The Lady and provide greater flexibility in stat choices.

We’ve also standardized Mundus Stone values against other systems that grant similar bonuses, such as enchantments or Item Sets, so you can customize the stats you care about in each system without needing to worry about weighing the exact values against each other. Mundus Stones are now equivalent to 1.85x of an Item Set bonus.
The values and bonuses of most Mundus Stones have been adjusted in the following ways, with the listed values being for CP160+ characters:

The Apprentice: Increased Spell Damage to 238 from 167.
The Atronach: Increased Magicka Recovery to 238 from 167.
The Lady: Now grants Spell Resistance in addition to Physical Resistance. Value increased to 2752 from 1980.
The Lover: Now grants 2752 Physical and Spell Penetration instead of granting Spell Resistance.
The Lord: Increased Max Health to 2231 from 1452.
The Mage: Increased Max Magicka to 2028 from 1320.
The Serpent: Increased Stamina Recovery to 238 from 167.
The Steed: Increased Health Recovery to 238 from 167.
The Thief: Reduced Critical Strike Chance to 9% from 11%.
The Tower: Increased Max Stamina to 2028 from 1320.
The Warrior: Increased Weapon Damage to 238 from 167.
The Shadow and The Ritual remain unchanged."

Woohoo! I may change from the Lord to the Lady on my tank now. That will push my unbuffed Spell Resist to the soft cap!

Might have to dust off my TBS again. Lover+shadow or warrior might be pretty good.

Could a heavy set of TBS with Lady+Atronach be good for a stam DK tank while levelling? Not BiS end game, but for lowbies and players who haven't got BiS yet? Just a thought.

You want to tank while leveling? Wouldn't you want to be full DPS instead, then switch to a tank after you hit 50? But if you want to level as a tank I imagine Lady + Atronach would be good yes.

If he is jusy leveling off dungeons then it is good practise, depends on method or preference he may not feel the need to burn through the levels super quick.

I've already levelled my stam DK tank, but yes I did level her as a tank with sword and board on both bars. I always level my character as I intend to play them at end game as it helps me to level the right skills, hone my rotation and practice my role ready for end game.

I'm really liking the changes. There are so many different ways to tackle twiceborn now instead of being pidgeon holed into just thief and shadow. I'm thinking of running The Lover with the Thief with Nirnhoned weapons to make up for my base damage. As a Templar, I'll have 10% crit damage already.

Don't. Even with the buff, Nirnhoned will add about 200 wep damage to your weapons so it still falls short of precise and maybe even sharpened. Would have to test on the latter but I'm fairly sure that while you'll probably see nirnhoned around a bit more, given the rarity off the materials for crafting and the shoddy droprate on that trait, I don't think it'll see a significant increase.

I love it for pvp. Dont mind it at all for pve. Good move by ZoS mundus stones felt useless in pvp since you dont wear divines its nice to see them

Exactly, especially with the boost to crit bonuses as part of sets and precise getting buffed and probably being on par if not better than sharpened now. The crit values will probably level out or maybe be higher depending on what sets you wear.

Overall loving the changes in the patch notes.

The change to the thief isn't huge, but the increase to crit set bonus amounts is why it's so significant. It went from about 4x a set bonus to 1.85x a set bonus. Essentially making it much less efficient.

Thief was nerfed 2%, but Precise was buffed 2%, and 1,2,3,4 'Critical' set bonuses were buffed... so no, the nerf to Thief will not be noticed, and Julianos/Hunding's Rage will be even better for Crit%!!

I will probably stick with Thief, but the changes are definitely enough to make me give that decision ALOT of thought...

Why would you want that though? Resistance is extremely overrated for tanks.

Same idea here and in combination with those changes:

•Grothdarr: Decreased the damage of this Item Set’s proc by 10%.
•Ilambris: Decreased the damage of this Item Set’s proc by 10%.

it might be possible to wear TBS + another 5-piece-set while dumping the undaunted sets. Issue might still be that one of the 5-piece-sets should be a set which gives the 5% minor slayer bonus.
