Has anyone actually tested? Because Julianos is still looking like BiS on paper to me, even after the buffs.
I wouldn't mind if it was since it has jewellery, making it easier to combine with other sets. But I just don't see it.
Well, I was able to buy a few pieces for about 500g~5k, most from those remote traders. Let's see if these work out.

Julianos only really excels in specific circumstances. When your build is split across a destro and resto staff, and has multiple elemental types.
For example, if you're a sorc using an inferno staff and stormcalling, then Julianos. If you're a sorc using a lightning staff and stormcalling, Netch, if you're using your sorc abilities for utility and your main damage is destro abilities, Spider Cultist (sometimes).
Julianos is a nice set to use if you're experimenting with a build though. It's dependable and will always be there. But, there are better options if you're tuning your build.

Julianos is BiS on both DPS classes I play (templar and warden). But yeah, sorc and DK use different gear (not sure about NB).

NB can get good millage out of War Maiden or Spider Cultist. It depends on the build. Wardens also get a lot of utility out of War Maiden, if you're going for an Animal Companion focus to your DPS. That said, Warden is one of the cases where the global buff from Julianos can be pretty appealing. Beyond that, Spinner's and Mother's Sorrow are both very strong contenders for most magicka builds. Spinners for DPS, and Mother's for healers or crit focused DPS. Like Julianos, they're agnostic about damage types or sources, so they can be very useful.
I'm not 100% sure about Templars, weirdly, it's a class I've never managed to stick with. I'd think Silks of the Sun, like DKs, along with something like like BSW. Or alternately Combat Physician + Sorrow for pure hilarity as a healer. But, like I said, I have a hard time staying motivated when I'm playing a Templar, so I've never really gotten into them, and there may be some things I've missed. (For what it's worth I main a NB healer, go figure.)
But, yeah, if you're on a warden, and your mixing between a flame staff, some animal and ice powers, Julianos is probably the way to go. I keep wanting to see someone actually come up with a viable Ysgramor build for them, but I doubt it's really possible.
