Do Khajiit Enjoy Salads?

I know that the Bosmer of Valenwood don't eat plant matter, due to the Green Pact. But are Khajiit, like cats of earth, obligate carnivores? Are they able to eat and process and thrive on plant matter? Is this issue ever even raised in canon?
Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.

Yeah, Khajiit do even cook with vegetables and plants. There's recipes like "Khajiiti Apple Spanakopita" (Apples, Greens, Flour) or "Elsweyr Fondue" (Red Meat, Melon, Cheese).
In Grahtwood you can find a Khajiit getting accused for eating flowers. Quite cute event

The open world event shows the cute and humourous side of the green pact. While a ways up the road in karthdar can show what happens to khajiit that cut down the green. Even if said khajiit does not adhere to the pact.

The Green Pact laws only apply to the Bosmer living in the Valenwood. The Khajiit that "hurt" that flower wasn't in the wrong, the Bosmer was just too butthurt over it. I still never fully understand how that Quest made sense.

This one can eat salat yes, if she has to. But prefers some nice fishes or similar healthy food.
But this one she believes, that if one hides the salat in some food and combines it with some other delicious ingedients, then it could be good.

In general, cats in the real world only eat grass and other plants to help them with hairballs(they eat it and vomit it back up with the hairball within minutes). Food for thought?

Yes, it's called 'obligate carnivore', as opposed to herbivore or, like bears and humans, omnivore.

You don't have to choose the Khajiit in that quest. You have 3 choices. I only chose the Khajiit for one of my runs.... I'm not going to say what happens when you choose someone else at the end.

Ah see i view that very differently. The green does not care for the ways and wiles of mer man nor beast. It cares that their is redemption of the violation of the green pact.

Yes those two bosmer conspired to have the flower cut. And yes they paid the khajiit to do it.

And he did. He physically harmed the flower and whether he follows the pact or not a sacrifice was demanded of the pact breaker.

if it's true that khajiit are related to elves and only have a feline appearance because Azura made it so, then I don't think they'd necessarily have earth-feline traits like those in terms of diet. considering, as others have mentioned, that khajiit in TES games do eat and cook with plant foods, and that no devs have said anything otherwise yet (with announcements or with lore [books]), then they probably aren't stuck with only flesh

Yeah we are all thinking of the same quest, you can choose who you want for that one. It's a nice little "choose your own adventure" bit of quest writing, one of my faves.
