The guys who believe certain classes and specs are doing well because the devs main them in their spare time must have lost faith in the development team to a degree where I personally cannot fathom why you are still playing their game.
And in extension of this, could we get over the "nerf sorc", please? For a long time it was the only class that actually really worked well. We don't want sorcs nerfed, we want the other classes to be buffed. Say it with me!
while I'm not advocating nerfs I will point out the obvious that everything in this game is weirdly aligned such that it creates a funnel that generates sorcerers with reckless abandon.
Kalthar Wolf-Brother – EP Templar - 50 Maeli Valen - EP NB - 50Naps-During-Trials – EP Templar - 50Rulnakh - EP Sorc - 50Azrael Krieg - EP NB – 50Uvithasa Telvanni – EP DK – 50More-Tail - EP Warden - 50Narile Galen - EP Sorc - 50Bone Soldier - EP Necro - 50Naps-During-Trails - EP Necro - 50
I can say with confidence they've never taken a magicka warden into PvE endgame. There is no way you can release a class so astronomically underpowered if you've tested it.
They brought in a bunch of PvP streamers for input, lol. What did you expect? Wardens are borderline overpowered in PvP - that's why ZoS hasn't touched them. If they buff anything because of PvE under-performance, the Warden will be too strong in PvP.
Just a quick overview for any skilled Warden player: - Permafrost stops a Destro-Bomb cold. (lol, literally)
- Survivability with Major/Minor Protection, wards, and Living Vines HoT
- Extreme burst with Cliff Racer, Scorch, and Force Pulse
- Strongest Ice Comet in the game
- Zero-Cost Purge via Blue Betty, along with a constant stream of ~500 mag recovery
Check out the Youtuber "iAssassins" if you want to see a seasoned magWarden player in battle. The class is really strong for Cyrodiil.

“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”
This has always been very evident since launch. Dragonknights early on were shown a LOT of imbalanced favor, but Magicka Sorcs have always been the clear favorite class when it comes time for the nerfbat.
Conversely, ESO devs from day one have put their middle-fingers up to Templar tanks, both stamina and magicka-based. They made their biased stance very clear that Templars should not be tanking.
Everybody knows they don't actually play their own game. ESO would be a much better place if they did :^)
I know two of the devs pretty well irl (I'm local to the studio)... they are definitely vested in, care very much about, and indeed do play around in the game
Please ask them why they make the asinine decisions they make, then.
That awkward moment when magsorcs are OP and everyone knows it.
But don't worry I'm sure some magsorc user will come in here and leave some condescending remark towards me or another poster pointing out the obvious.
