After almost 2 weeks of the PVP event. I know there have been a lot of people new to PVP giving it a go. I'd like to know your views on PVP and whether the event has, perhaps, changed your views.
Please only respond if you've spent enough time to complete (or almost) complete the event. I'd rather the poss wasn't skewed by views from people who havn't dipped in enough toes to really get a feel for it.
And please don't respond if you're already a full or part-time PVPer.
2 weeks? Did you get to start before the rest of us? It's only been a week so far.
It was a mixed bag. In the large campaign, I was in several great groups, leaders knew what they were doing, actually used strategy rather than just a locust mob. But too often group leaders had no idea what to do.
I also agree somewhat with Golnebo, "The community can be as great as the one in PVE-land, and sometimes just as toxic." Except I would argue perhaps a bit more toxic. Never experienced before In any game the level of hostility of the "get out of our PvP zone", "Go farm some Writs loser", 'You are ruining our game" crowd to the extent that some ESO PvPers were expressing openly to people who were asking simple questions in chat.
LOL. Yeah, gotta love those players who act like they were never once a noob at PvP.It was a mixed bag. In the large campaign, I was in several great groups, leaders knew what they were doing, actually used strategy rather than just a locust mob. But too often group leaders had no idea what to do.
