PVE to PVP Transition Not Intuitive Enough

Impen is not THE ONLY trait you can use to survive in PvP

Well-Fitted is OP in certain builds.

Impregnable armor pretty much negates the need for impen and you can go full sturdy (equally OP).

The problem about PvP is that you CANNOT make it more intuitive. You're not fighting NPC AIs, you're fighting human beings (most of them) with different levels of skill and experience, so it will never be possible to make it intuitive.

How do you fight a zerg ?

How do you fight a ballgroup ?

How do you fight a shield-stacking sorc ?

How do you fight a permablocking CC machine DK ?

How do you fight a permadodgeroll stamblade, or a ganker ?

How do you fight an organized small group with resto-ulti and synced DBoS ?

Impen is of marginal help, most top-notch players already made their builds to account for full impen, so, having full divines or whatever instead, just means you die a little faster (3s instead of 10, big deal).

The step from fighting a predictable (learning the mechanics) AI and fighting a human being will always be a huge one, because, even if people, to a degree, are predictable, and you can effectively predict what will they do when certain conditions apply (e.g. they run out of resources).

Did they say, in ESO live, they want to make it more intuitive ? Marketing crap, you can't make it more intuitive.

You need to die, die, die, and through all the deaths, learn how they're killing you and develop a counterplay, based on what is killing you and how.

It requires time and effort to learn how to play the build you are using or develop a build of your own.

... or just join a huge group and lag everyone out, that works too.

    Not as fun, imo.

There's no need to consider crit separately. All damage is already halved. Leave things as they are but make a tutorial about the buff and debuff. One thing I find abnormal is the fact PvE mobs can't crit.
