To lighten up the day some, recall your best PUG group experience and share~

I'll share mine in a bit after I eat breakfast, then while I wait for ESO to load
Hoping for more playable races.

Tank kept standing in the one shot mechanic. Over and over and over and over... we have already wiped for atleast 20 mins, but it was the daily and I wanted to get it done since it was the last boss. The boss is a dps race so nothing I can really do as a healer, yes im trying to dps as well. Well at this point im getting angry and frustrated because this dang tank will not move out of the one shot aoe that takes like 3 secs before blowing him up.... BUT what made me laugh so hard was when he said.. "GUYS I think we need to move out of that skill!" ... I literally put down my controller and started crying from laughter haha... we ended up finishing it after a few more wipes.

Edit - I am also partially blaming my self for being too lazy to put on my mic and telling him to move...

I would stay it was when I was bored one day "how all pug groups start being bored" and I put in area chat LFG for VDSA DPS here and the fun begin there best part was all who said they wanted a go at it where all over the CP cap. But 2 never ran it before and they last time I did was when it was still scaled at V14. So it took us about an hour and a half but after that pug run we all became friends and have run VDSA ever since.

Okay my best expereince was probably in aa group most would consider 'bad'. We were all casual players, didn't have meta gear, just simple sets that seemed good at the time, our CP level was sub-par, just barely above 160. We were doing vet Imp City Prison, my most hated dungeon lol.

This was a random daily mind you, so none of us knew each other at all. We all knew the mechanics pretty well, but as I said before our equipment was not the best so we died some throughout the dungeon. But we kept at it all the way to the Warden boss.

I was on my main healer and we all scrambled around, the first few times was a funny sight. The DPS and Tank were not totally silly, they dodged and rolled out of the way of the aoe the best we could, but stuff happens when the battle lasts so long.

Anyway, the good, rememberable part was we never blamed each other, at least not openly. We just planned and changed our tactics in various ways until finally after 2 hours we beat it. This is what is pleasing to me with playing with average Joe folks who don't point fingers and why I cringe when I see CP 630.
    Hoping for more playable races.

Group of 3 took me in, as their healer, to do Vet WGT.

All three of them were from the same guild and we blitzed through it. There were a couple wipes of course, no blame was thrown nobody got frustrated that I hadn't finished it before.

We simply got up and went again and got it done...really wish I had friended those 3 women.

I (cp430) was preparing for Skyreach catacombs at the entrance when a lvl 20 guy asked me if I could help him at catacombs. 'sure' I answered and we started. In the 2nd room he left the group with the words 'you are too slow, learn to grind, you stupid #@#&%'.

Mine was a pug I joined for vCradle of shadows. I came in at Dracos (or w/e) and we died a few times. Team did not feel like it was very...cohesive. When we got to the last boss, someone said "doing it on the first try right ;)?"

Lo and behold, we smacked her down on the first try! There was some chaos in the maze and some close moments but we did it. Felt really awesome.

Happened to me right now :D

I honestly got tired of long queues for DD, so I unlocked Inner Fire and queued as Tank + DD. On normal, of course, no way I'm screwing people like that on vet.

I mean, it's normal, right? And I'm magsorc with Hardened Ward, 500+ CP and Boundless Storm for resists. What could possibly go wrong?

    Imperial City Prison :D

Poor guys were on the 1st boss - it seems that real tank has duped. And not only tank - we also got new healer. So yeah... I saw where this was going. And here was me - fake tank magsorc with 17k hp. Well... No way I was going to give up without even trying :)

We breezed through it without single wipe <3 There were some death here and there, and some of them sure were my fault. Like Ibomez was randomly turning and sending "a wave" to poor guys - I think I should have interrupted it. I'm not sure, honestly has never played as tank. But I didn't have enough stam, so... yeah... some oneshots.

But apparently you honestly can get away with being fake tank on normal even in ICP. Inner Fire + Shield + Boundless Storm and you're good - I even managed to hold Abomination without any issues, when healer and one DD died (they ran into Hoarvers) and the other was rezing them all.

Also managed to hold all 4 Wardens' shadows without any issues. They hit suprisingly weakly, just Inner Fire them all + spam Hardened Ward and you're cool.

We managed easily and I honestly wrote "Didn't think I would be able to tank that, to be honest" in group chat.

One of the guys called me "god of tanking".

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww <3:D

Sure wasn't even near, but... It sure as hell was fresh and fun :D

Never on vet (unless I finally make a proper tank char), but I think I will gladly tank normal from now on :)

    "God of tanking", ehehehehe :D<3
English isn't my native, apologies for any mistakes.

Once decided to pug vet Cradle soon after it came out. Why, I cannot remember.

We ended up no deathing it.

There was also the case where I picked up a level 30 warden, no cp, and just took him around everywhere teaching him the ropes. I guess this meant a lot to him, as when I told him I can't afford eso plus, he went and bought me a month.

Seriously the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me in this game.

I used to run PUG in cyrodiil years ago. Grabbed them out of zone chat and we'd go pvdoor some keeps, mostly to teach the new players how to siege and show them the ropes of the keep take process. Weeks of doing this and I got my own nice little daily crew who'd join when I asked who needed a group in zone. I'd usually run mornings and then pvp with my guild come evenings. One night I skipped the guild pvp and me and my puggies took the emp ring and to their delight I was crowned emperor. I stuck with them and we had a lot of fun and they were so excited that they had the emp leading their group. It made me feel proud I had taught these guys how to do the pvp basics that cyrodiil doesn't really teach you. And we gained a lot of AP that night. My little tyro titans.

My best PUG moment is when I get paired with competent, friendly and helpful individuals that can do their roles properly.

Nothing makes me happier than getting through a vet with minimal effort because of a great team effort.

When I queued for random normal out of boredom. It was Cradle of Shadows, and 3 other players were pre-vets. I decided to give it a try and after I explained the strategy for every boss, we finished the dungeon without wipes or any other issues. :)
Ive had a few similar experiences with other dungeons, and that was quite fun. :)
