I'd be fine with them removing the purple eye rings, but I like my pasty skin and red eyes. As far as the toggle option goes, if they gave people the option to turn that stuff off, it would only further encourage people becoming vampires solely for the passives.
I'd be fine with even stage 2...got the full red eyes going and pretty pale....everything after that is just piling on the ugly.

It's lore breaking too. Vampires are supposed to be seductive. A victim isn't going to want to go home with someone that looks like a walking disease.
I'm completely against this. Vampires are monsters and should look the part. No point in being a vampire if you just wanna look normal. Unless they do it where you still have red eyes or some other visual indication in the disguised form, It shouldn't be in.
If you want to be beautiful, don't become a walking corpse. It should be common sense. ~Pepper

What's the point of making your character look sexy during character creation if they're just going to look like syphilitic meth addicts with vampirism?

You can make them look however you want. Being a vampire is an optional cosmetic change. I mean honestly, it's like becoming a werewolf and complaining that you're naked in the form.Vampirism prevents me from spending crowns on cosmetics for my character that don't show up/look right with the white skin. I'd like to remind you that this is a game and other people besides you put countless hours into their characters. They should be able to make those characters look however they want.
Besides, it doesn't mean much if you "look like a walking corpse" when there are walking corpses literally everywhere you go.

I can understand some people's gripes with the later stages of vampirism and could get behind a few cosmetic changes. I also understand the issue with the body markings; that needs to be fixed. However, we certainly shouldn't have a toggle that removes all physical vampire features. That's pointless. You might as well just not be one. Again, we don't need an increase of people choosing to become vampires solely for the passives.
See, but you're still missing the point. You're not "forced" into anything. Vampires aren't in the game for you to get your free stat bonuses. If you want to look like the beautiful character you spent hours creating, then stay the beautiful character you spent hours creating. Vampirism is a curse. It's not meant to be ideal and it's not meant to be a boon. It's a double-edged sword. You can make them look however you want. Being a vampire is an optional cosmetic change. I sorta feel like people who are vampires have more invested in how their character looks than you have invested in how their character looks, since they are the ones who spend the time playing their character, and you don't spend any time playing theirs.
People should be able to look however they want and should not be forced into a specific, agreeably extremely ugly cosmetic choice because they want some stat bonuses. People who want to look like vampires can look like them, and people who don't.. well, won't.
Everyone's happy and you wouldn't know the difference anyway, unless they told you.

So, since this is never happening if ZOS has any sense at all, people that want to look like vampires will become vampires and people that don't won't. That's how it is and how it should stay.
Fair point. I'm still against it. Disguises are one thing, as no one wants to wear those ugly, bland things permanently. It doesn't encourage "statpires" as I will now call them. And I'd hope ZOS would recognize that. Players shouldn't be able to just ignore the "curse" part of the form.See, but you're still missing the point. You're not "forced" into anything. lol well in that case i'm sure they'll be removing the feature that lets people who are vampires hide it with disguises or skins, right?
Seems like you've got it all figured out.

I'd prefer not to clog my UI with thousands of icons. I track my own buffs but that's about it.

I can already hide my vamparism with ugly flashlight skins and plain disguises so how can ya tell
IMO the look needs to stay. Everyone runs vamp for the bonus' and there should be some consequences to that added power. Why should someone gain perks and still get to look normal? I choose not to be a vampire due to the look (and it doesn't fit my characters lore). If you chose vampire, you knew the price...
