Vampirism prevents me from spending crowns on cosmetics for my character that don't show up/look right with the white skin. The eyes are just terrible too, so I use the oracle eyes cosmetic. Stage 3 and 4 is just not enjoyable to look at.

I'm completely against this. Vampires are monsters and should look the part. No point in being a vampire if you just wanna look normal. Unless they do it where you still have red eyes or some other visual indication in the disguised form, It shouldn't be in.

If you want to be beautiful, don't become a walking corpse. It should be common sense. ~Pepper

I'd like to remind you that this is a game and other people besides you put countless hours into their characters. They should be able to make those characters look however they want.

Besides, it doesn't mean much if you "look like a walking corpse" when there are walking corpses literally everywhere you go.
You can make them look however you want. Being a vampire is an optional cosmetic change. I mean honestly, it's like becoming a werewolf and complaining that you're naked in the form.

I can understand some people's gripes with the later stages of vampirism and could get behind a few cosmetic changes. I also understand the issue with the body markings; that needs to be fixed. However, we certainly shouldn't have a toggle that removes all physical vampire features. That's pointless. You might as well just not be one. Again, we don't need an increase of people choosing to become vampires solely for the passives.

I sorta feel like people who are vampires have more invested in how their character looks than you have invested in how their character looks, since they are the ones who spend the time playing their character, and you don't spend any time playing theirs.

People should be able to look however they want and should not be forced into a specific, agreeably extremely ugly cosmetic choice because they want some stat bonuses. People who want to look like vampires can look like them, and people who don't.. well, won't.

Everyone's happy and you wouldn't know the difference anyway, unless they told you.
See, but you're still missing the point. You're not "forced" into anything. Vampires aren't in the game for you to get your free stat bonuses. If you want to look like the beautiful character you spent hours creating, then stay the beautiful character you spent hours creating. Vampirism is a curse. It's not meant to be ideal and it's not meant to be a boon. It's a double-edged sword.

So, since this is never happening if ZOS has any sense at all, people that want to look like vampires will become vampires and people that don't won't. That's how it is and how it should stay.
    @TheMaster

The cosmetic aspect of vampirism is not the compromise. That would be the increased flame damage taken and drastically reduced health regeneration – not to mention the Fighters Guild passives.

In ESO, we have skins and disguises that already allow us to cover up vampirism. Therefore, the option to hide the vampire appearance should exist.

WHY does this thread keep coming up?

LOL so you all want the great perks of being a vampire but not the downsides to it too?

I bet everyone that if ZOS ever did implement this stupid decision, the next thing to moab about on the forum would be reduce the fire damage

Want to hide vampirism? Use a skin, polymoprh or wear a helmet. There are already various ways to hide it

Only if we can get all the perks from being a WW without having to transform.

it's one of the very few down sides to the curse. Would you prefer to only go out at night?

Then you would have to have de-buffs when not transformed. No thanks. I would prefer werewolf has no negative effect unless transformed.

Many of us would pay 5k crowns to hide this skin. That'd be a compromise i wouldn't mind

You already have an option for this. It's called "not being a vampire."

Cosmetics and gameplay should be kept separate.

I think this would be a wonderful idea. I would seriously buy a vamp-concealer skin for crowns on all my accounts if it was a thing.

ZOS is loosing out on not just the money for the skin, but also on money I would otherwise spend on costumes. I don't wear costumes right now, because the only way to show my normal character appearance is to wear a disguise. Unfortunately, that doesn't work in cyrodiil or on the character selection screen, so I'm always ugly there. :(

I spent a long time customizing my character's appearance, and I don't want to alter it with a skin, hat, helmet or vampire effect.
