You will be able to play during the event. You don't have to just play on the vivec campaign. On PC EU there are some very low pop campaigns also the number of people playing in Cyrodil will decrease once alot of the PVE'ers get the achievement.

This seems like the kind of thing that would merit emergency downtime.

If they took all the servers down for emergency downtime now that would just cause more hate of the event to be flung their way. People can play the event just not get one easy to obtain achievement.

It will be Fixed on Monday because ZOS doesn't see this as a high priority and Rather than post a banner showing there incompetence they would rather bury the fix date in this thread.

I also wont be retrospective but don't worry its "one of the easiest achievements" so your good to go and get your win on Monday after maintenance if its fixed. Because I mean ZOS fixes everything when they say they do.

How exactly is is acceptable to not retroactively award the achievement to those who earned it? If we say we should have gotten the achievement, look at our account, confirm we won a BG during the event, and grant us the achievement we earned. I love ESO as a game, however your horrible customer "service" makes me miss WoW.

Is this a serious response its quite possibly the hardest for a large proportion of the player base maybe a re evaluation of the par taking of 1 battleground or remove it all together now ?

The battlegrounds achievement should be fairly simple if queuing solo - in the end, no matter how experienced or inexperienced, you could be placed with extremely advanced PvPers as likely as less experienced ones - soon enough one of these groups will get it with you!

I appreciate the thought however i've won about 3 this afternoon playing with friends the point i was trying to make was its Arguably the 2nd hardest behind 50 killing blows so to state its one of the easiest is untrue.

Well considering the 'hardest' achievement takes an hour of firing siege into zergs, it's not that hard,

This is one of the worse excuses I have heard and it should be easy to give the achievement over the weekend without having to redo this. I am not a pvper and me and a friend spend a long time actually winning one battlegorund. We don't have time to sit there for hours next week.

Yeah this achivment should be given to any player who has won BG after event went live. It's not as easy as it seems, and I usually have to carry people to victory + using tons of expensiv pots just to win. Won't have time to play eso after today because of holiday trip IRL. Show some customer support and add these achivments to your loyal players who have completed it..

Just to report the achievement is still bugged on the XBOX One and I just won another Battelground match at a little past 6:30 ET on the NA server. I'm hoping ESO does either one of two things: 1) gives the achievement to everyone who won a BG during the event (if they can't track it just admit defeat and give it to anyone who logged into a BG event during the period or if they can't track that then just anyone who jumped on ESO) or 2) extend the event by however many days this achievement was bugged. I'm not a computer guy or game coder so I don't want to make it seem like I'm saying a solution is quick. I appreciate the work the debugging team is doing and hope it can be resolved soon.

I have won 3 battleground matches and not get credit for winning . and I was getting frustatedat the game lol. not in a good wayi am happy to see that i am not the only one who is haveing this problem .

Thank you for the update!

For everyone whining about how long the fix will take, please imagine the outcry if the servers came down outside of regular maintenance time to deploy a fix for one achievement.

For people on vacation/unable to play for the rest of the event, I do feel for you but real life happens.

I actually don't think it's the easiest achievement if I'm honest...

Also - there is ZERO credit for winning battlegrounds from the quest to win 3 battlegrounds. Won 5 in a row and didn't get the quest complete - not even a single victory was credited... So you're bug is due to no winner being declared in BGs...

Even when the win was outright like this...

They've already said they won't retroactively credit it... meaning a lot of people will miss out I'm sure. Because it's still not fixed and time is ticking on the event.
