Unfortunately, the fix won't be retroactive. Luckily, this is one of the easiest achievements in the bunch to earn since it requires only one won battleground and the event runs for a little under two weeks.3 -

redshirt_49✭✭✭✭It's annoying to be sure, since I figured I'd just unlock this one real quick while I waited in queue. *check* nope, still position 300.
Won my first BG match of the day (barely. No team was slacking here. And the viper abuse was going strong on team green. But then, defiler isn't much better, ahem.) and the achievement unfortunately didn't unlock.
Oh well, plenty more to be had I'm sure. Winning BGs is fairly simple with the right strategy, especially against pugs.

The battlegrounds achievement should be fairly simple if queuing solo - in the end, no matter how experienced or inexperienced, you could be placed with extremely advanced PvPers as likely as less experienced ones - soon enough one of these groups will get it with you!Yt Channell: Blobsky

Could be worse, they could have made the achievement require you to return an Elder Scroll to your temple during the event...1
