Oh for the love of Azura...
No, no and no. Didn't the poll that you started on June the 8th on the same subject answer this question for you? Or any other of the threads that you started on the same subject...

A valuable thing about an RPG is independent character development. ZOS has already chipped away at that with mail , bank, and mounts, by making them account level items. CP are also account level. Soon, AP and writ vouchers will move to be more account level.
We need to be thinking about retaining character level development, not making more account level.

To be honest, the poll you linked is about 50/50, with the people being against it either saying " doesnt effect me thus no" or "I did is thus so should you" and mostly saying no because of traits, not motifs.

And an aspect of an MMO is having multiple characters and switching on the go depending on the role that is required for the group. This is being done well with shared cp, but making alts crafters is being unnecessarily punished due to motifs not being shared, thus promoting not even developing crafting on alternate characters which limits the development of individual characters by giving the feeling it is lost effort to learn them on multiple characters (and why shouldn't your main crafter nor just teach the styles to other characters if you want an RPG motivation).
