I'm getting 353 non crit, 593 crits with 33 points into quick recovery, 49 into elf and 41 into blessed. I have 573 CP. Trellis is superior pretty much everywhere in a PvP scenario where you're running a build meant to be useful. Lifesteal becomes, I think, almost as useful/slightly more so than Trellis in no CP, depending on the build you're running.Waffennacht wrote: »NightbladeMechanics wrote: »NightbladeMechanics wrote: »Waffennacht wrote: »NightbladeMechanics wrote: »
Trellis is more akin to a strong HoT with Healing Ward as your "Oh No!" heal. Also great against LA or DoTs as I'll probably net you health
I get that. Would the burst heal from Trellis or Minor Lifesteal from Leeching net more healing averaged over the duration of the spell? I don't know the numbers on them.
Edit: asking from a solo perspective. Lifesteal would clearly benefit a group more.
Not sure I get the point. Trellis and vines heal you every time you get hit (cd 1 sec) by 2/3k (don't remember the numbers atm, and it works when your shield is hitten too. So in solo prospective you keep trellis and shields up all the time. When you get hit by massive burst damage you just harness > bar swap> healing ward> trellis refresh. You will get huge shield, nice healing and every time your shield get hit you take other heals. If you have a dot on you and you can los you get a ton of mag and health back, if you can't, you will buy time to go again offensive and crush 1/more enemies or stay defensive till resto ulti for full recover and fight back.
I asked which is more healing: the Trellis refresh or proccing Minor Lifesteal every second for the duration of the ability.
In PvP it's 300 health per tick of life steal, if you manage all ticks that's approximately 3k health.
Trellis' tooltip for me is approximately 5k (a little higher iirc) so they'll be close, the difference is Trellis can be used at command, doesn't require to hit and is more defensive,
PvE I would say leaching is better (but I may not use it in PvE)

Was just testing it and apparently you can only get one tick of lifesteal per second (I did not know this >.>), ever, no matter how many enemies you hit who have the debuff. Oh well.

I think a full life steal heal you more on flat number but just if you get all the ticks. Trellis final heal can crit and in that case will heal a lot more than full cycle of life steal.
