I'm so sick of ZOS and the horrible imbalance. Stam builds have been slaughtered in update 14, with magic builds being handled more of the koala droppings that make pvp stupid.
By bringing back resource scarcity (which was good), stam builds in pvp have to spend their primary attack resource hitting, dodging, running AND crouching. A magic build, however, can enter a fight with their attack resource fully charged. Once they apply pressure and the stamina build starts mitigating that, the stam toon is quickly draining any ability to attack or hide or heal. Meanwhile, any pressure in the opposite direction and the magic build has their stamina pool to draw from through dodge rolls or blocking.
Add on top of this the STUPID EFFING OP abilities that have been handed out, and stam toons in update 14 blow in any non-ganking situation. in update 14 my toon took a significant dps hit...particularly with the loss of the sneak attack bonus. And looking at tool tip death reports, most all stam attacks are coming in for much less dps. But magic hits are off the charts...many abilities doing 15k+ damage.
For example, I got hit with Scorching Flare for 18,000 damage. WHAT THE FLIP?? The stamina version of this ability is effing caltrops. Do you know how much my fully buffed caltrops hit for? Like 500 per tick.
I'm open to dissenting points, but my stam toons play like a$$ in update 14, and it's really annoying.

that immediately pigeonholed you into a glass cannon ganker in my mind,
that immediately pigeonholed you into a glass cannon ganker in my mind,
My issue with that is that my stamblade and magsorc are sort of similar approaches. Why isn't my magsorc a glass cannon? Because he has an effing cheap butt shield that he can spam, and cheap heals, and he doesn't have to target enemies hard because he gets two curses on one cast, etc.
Give nightblades a spam shield as strong as ward and sorc level heals and the character wouldn't be a glass canon. They've been held at a hand to hand combat disadvantage that makes it so all they can do is gank (which they do well)

stam is better in PvP
Mag is better in PvE
Maybe try creating multiple characters and just using whichever one is better for any given situation based on the objective, group dynamic, and opponents.
