Soul Trap and Soul Shatter have been woefully underpowered for far too long. Please at least make them useful. Here are a couple adjustments @Wrobel could make before he finishes his first cup of coffee tomorrow morning:
Soul Trap - increase the damage of all morphps by 100%. This should bring the raw tooltip to just under 20k on most builds, which is ~2k tooltip DPS. If you are feeling extra saucy, since it is a "soul"-based ability, it might be cool to change the scaling to magicka OR stamina depending on which is higher (but still cost magicka).
Soul Shatter - reduce the cooldown to 30s. In addition to its current effect, deals an additional X Magic Damage to any target(s) currently affected by your Soul Trap abilities. Edit: I'm not sure how this currently scales but it would be nice if this also scaled on magicka or stamina depending on which is higher.
Thoughts?

Or make it actually useful instead of forcing people to use it to grind. Having to manually fill all of your soul gems would be tedious as heck. It would be insane for ZoS to make a change like that.
I do agree that soul trap at least needs a buff (and better visuals) it would be a really cool & fun ability to be able to actually use. The reason soul shatter isn't ever taken anymore is because nobody slots soul abilities, and one is required to make it activate.

Even with that set as it exists currently, Soul Trap would not be overpowered. 3-4k tooltip DPS by sacrificing a 5pc slot seems fine to me. I would say leave it as is.
