I will skip two meals a day for this update (ESO Diet!??)

To be fair, I already spend a ridiculous amount of money on cosmetics to set my characters apart. The ability to show them off in my housing wouldn't actually make me spend more than I already do... but I would nonetheless be very excited about it, oh yes.

This update would make me spend moderate amount of money

Hmm just a thought......if your alts are in your house, they are not at large in the world to do the daily writs/manage inventories etc. Which means more traveling and loading screens taking them out and returning them afterwards.

So I've changed my mind, and wouldn't be interested in having my houses peopled with alts after all !

I buy from the store when something interests me. Housing, decorations or this idea is not something I would even spend a penny on. Besides some of my alts would not get along with the others and would end burning the place to the ground when I wasn't looking.

I wouldn't even give away my moldy penny for anything to do with housing. That is unless housing actually becomes functional in some way eventually. At the moment, all housing is good for is reenacting various scenes from the lusty argonian maid.

None of the options apply for me... I'm interested in this feature, but I'd not pay extra cash for anything cosmetic that's already present in the crown store to have it.

I'm not interested in anything that ZOS sells in the crown store (except the rare occasion in which I like a costume or a mount... but those are few and far between) and that's why I have so many crowns accumulated over the months of my ESO+ sub.

But yes, if the feature required an unlock sold in the crown store (like char slots, or rename tokens, f.e.) I'd buy them at least for a few alts that I need to transfer stuff to/from occasionally... that's assuming that I'd be able to trade stuff with the alt and he is not there just for show.

Literally could not give less of a ***, housing was already a moneygrab with it's way overpriced stuff, i don't understand these players that pay REAL *** money, to buy a house in a game.
It's not even content, it's not like imperial city, or orsinium, where you actually have something to do, it's just useless.

How is that useful? You can literally go to the crafting station, and just craft there.

I know, you have to pay for the dlc, but then, why not just pay about 40/50 dollars on actual content instead of 100+ dollars for housing?

Seems like an awful bargain to me, cosmetics are just that, cosmetics, doesn't add anything really interesting to the game, aside from the fact that you can brag that you spent 100 dollars to make you look a bit more diverse compared to the rest of the players, yea.... not really what i would aspire to personally, i would prefer to be a monster in pvp and pve, and maybe spend that money for more useful stuff.

Yes to alts in houses.

As far as costumes and personalities? I think so far I've purchased 2 or 3 and they don't really do enough for me to consider purchasing 9 or 10 more.

I'd be very interested though in being able to show off mounts in the stable and pets and alts. Just to give housing some life. Even a gardener or a maid NPC. A cultists or two at those giant statues you can get.

The reason I haven't purchased expensive housing so far though is the lack of use and the lack of atmosphere. Even visiting other players houses. The place feels dead.

A secondary cool feature for alts though would be having players alts in their home whilst they are offline. With their main 'missing' and the alts informing visitors that he/she is not home right now.

I mean if alts in homes becomes a feature I want it go all out...

Not a "bad" idea. I've heard a few good ideas for housing. "Fluff" for houses would be great, and would sell if they would give the houses value by including housing features such as (for instance) storage. There's no money in that though, is there? I'm afraid there will be no good housing features added for the benefit of consumers, only features added for the benefit of the vendor.
